한국어교육 전공 유학생을 위한 문법 전문용어 선정 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to select grammar terminologies for foreign students majoring in Teaching Korean As a Foreign Language (TKFL) and discuss on the effective usage of the selected list.
This study was started from the perspective that the education of terminologies is necessary for the foreign students majoring in TKFL to successfully complete their major area of study. From this perspective, the grammar terminologies were selected to apply 'frequency' and 'context' as classification standards considering the educational utilization values. Through such process, a 'selected list of grammar terminologies for the foreign students majoring in TKFL' composed of a total of 1759 terminologies has been presented.
For the presented list, a detailed analysis was performed by setting up the units and standards of the appropriate analysis. Specifically, the units of analysis are terminological unit and formational unit analyzing based on 'understanding' of each terminology for the analysis of terminological unit while analyzing based on 'understanding' and 'importance' for the analysis of formational unit.
As a result of analysis, the terminologies have been identified as having low 'understanding' compared to the formational unit of terminologies while the productivity level that each vocabulary carries was determined through the process of analyzing the 'importance' of word-formation vocabularies. These identified 'understanding' and 'importance' of word-formation vocabulary were made into scores to be applied as the standard of list organization. In result, a 'word-formation vocabulary list of terminologies for education' composed of a total of 869 vocabularies that can reduce the burden of students and strive for learning efficiency in studying terminologies has been presented.
The result of this study is able to find significance from the fact that it has provided a useful basic material that can be used in teaching-learning of grammar terminologies and suggested one of ways for teaching-learning of terminologies by applying the list organization method focused on the effective usage aspect.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국어교육 전공 유학생을 위한 문법 전문용어를 선정하고, 선정 목록의 효율적인 활용에 대하여 논의하는 데에 있다.
본 연구는 한국어교육 전공 유학생들이 각자의 전공 영역에서 성공적으로 수학하기 위해서는 전문용어 교육이 필요하다는 관점에서 시작되었다. 이러한 관점에서 한국어교육 전공 영역 문법 분야 전문용어를 선정하고, 교육적 활용 가치를 고려하여 ‘빈도’와 ‘맥락’을 분류 기준으로 적용한 목록을 구성하였다. 결과적으로 총 1759개의 전문용어로 구성된 ‘한국어교육 전공 유학생을 위한 문법 전문용어 선정 목록’을 제시하였다.
제시한 목록에 대해서는 타당한 분석의 단위와 기준을 설정하여 면밀한 분석을 진행하였다. 구체적으로, 분석의 단위는 용어 단위와 조어 단위이며, 용어 단위 분석에 있어서는 개별 전문용어의 ‘이해도’를 기준으로 분석하였고, 조어 단위 분석에서는 ‘이해도’와 ‘중요도’를 기준으로 하였다.
분석 결과 용어 단위 전문용어의 경우 전문용어 조어 어휘에 비하여 ‘이해도’가 낮은 것으로 파악되었다. 이에 전문용어 학습에 있어서의 학습자들의 부담을 줄이고 학습의 효율성을 도모하기 위하여 ‘교육용 전문용어 조어 어휘 목록’을 구성하였다. 조어 어휘 목록 구성에 있어서는 조어 어휘의 ‘이해도’와 ‘중요도’ 점수를 기준으로 적용하였다. 결과적으로 총 869개의 어휘로 구성된 ‘교육용 전문용어 조어 어휘 목록’을 제시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 문법 전문용어 교수-학습에 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 유용한 기초 자료를 제공했다는 점과 전문용어 교수-학습을 위한 하나의 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
