The subject of local administrative district integrations was diversely researched, however, a few researches have been conducted as a target dealing with the direct integration region. In addition to that, researches have been studied relatively little assigned a key part as the residents of a direct integration region. The research, therefore, surveyed and analyzed the opinions of the Changwon-city' residents, which is the target dealt with the direct integration region.
The research conducted to modeling for whether or not of the local administrative district integration. Each model for Changwon city's residents and officials included 11 independent variables, 1 intervening variable, and 1 dependent variable. The research formed the research models and analyzed the results by considering causal orders among independent, intermediate, and dependent variables to verify causal hypothesis through a multiple regression analysis.
The intermediate variable in between independent and dependent variables were integration effect factor. The independent variables affecting to the intermediate variable in the resident model were government support, living area, integration success, politics influence, given condition, stratum function, and autonomy stratum factors.
The dependent variable the resident model was whether or not of the integration. The independent and intermediate variables affecting to the dependent variable were integration effect, autonomy stratum, government support, monthly income factors.
The causal orders among independent, intermediate, and dependent variables in the officials model were much more complicated than the resident model. The independent variables affecting to the intermediate variable in the officials model were government support, given condition, living area, politics influence, integration success, self-support government, and autonomy stratum factors.
The independent and intermediate variables affecting to the dependent variable were integration effect, regional discord, government pressure, politics influence, given condition, autonomy stratum, regional feeling, living area, stratum function, education, and age factors.
