무용전공자들의 사회화와 성취목표성향이 진로결정수준 및 탐색행동에 미치는 영향 = (The)effects of dance majors' socialization and accomplishment goal tendency on career choosing level and searching behavior

The purpose of this paper is to research on the process of discriminated socialization of roles as dancers by the socialization a nature of human settlements. This paper is intended to identify that dancers are left behind in advancing in society due to the limits of possible career opportunities. Due to practice oriented education, a problem by discriminated socialization, and seek solutions. The ultimate purpose of this paper is to reap positive effects in career search based on the study results for problem solving. As for research subjects the scope, survey was done on graduates and presently enrolled 4th year students the program in dancing departments located in Busan metro city and Gyeongnam province as of 2010. As for the composition of questionnaires survey sheets used as survey tools and questionnaire sheets responding method. Total 80 questions were organized on dance socialization and accomplishment goal trends, career choosing level and career search behavior etc. The method of receiving a response was a in 5 stage scale and 4 stage scale considering objectivity. Data analysis was done through computer SPSS computer program on the collected questionnaire survey data. For the verification of validity and reliability, one way ANOVA was done after searching factor analysis and Cronbach's α value verification, and to clarify the relationship, that dance socialization and accomplishment goal trend affect career choosing levels and searching behavior, multi-regression analysis was used.
Through such processes, this research reached the following conclusions:
First, regarding the dance socialization and accomplishment goal trends by the demographical characteristics of dance majors, career choosing level and career search behaviors were higher with graduates than presently enrolled students. In areas such as cognitive socializiation, career conviction level and level of conviction on the major. 4th year students were shown to have the highest on career non-choosing level. Whereas presently enrolled students were shown to have lower conviction of their own career path.
Second, regarding the dance socialization and accomplishment goal trends by the major fields of dance. Career choosing level and career search behaviors were higher with Korean dance majors than contemporary dance, ballet and other majors on behavioral socialization, cognitive socialization, career conviction level, the level of conviction on the major and behavior of search for the self all. However, career non-choosing level was higher with contemporary dance majors.
Third, regarding the dance socialization and accomplishment goal trends by the students ages of dance majors, career choosing level and career search behaviors were higher with those in their 30s and above than teenagers and those in their 20s on behavioral socialization, cognitive socialization, career conviction level and the level of conviction on the major. However, career non-choosing level was higher with those in their 20s than with those in their 30s and above.
Fourth, regarding the dance socialization and accomplishment goal trends by the dancing experiences of dance major students, career choosing level and career search behaviors were higher with those who have been professionals for the 10 to 12 years and those who have been professionals for 12 years or more compared to those who have been professionals for 1 to 3 years on behavioral socialization and cognitive socialization.
Fifth, regarding the amount of dancing hours for those students who have dance majors, those who had 2 or more dancing hours had higher levels of behavioral socialization, cognitive socialization and major conviction level.
Sixth, accomplishment goal trend of dance majors affects career choosing level positively.
Seventh, accomplishment goal trend of dance majors affects career searching behavior positively.
Eighth, dance socialization affects career choosing level positively.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 인간의 특성인 사회화에 따른 무용수로서의 역할 사회화의 차별적인 사회화 과정을 연구하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 과정에서 차별화된 사회화로 인한 문제점인 실기위주 교육으로 인한 진로의 한정성으로 인한 사회 진출이 타 분야에 비해 저조함을 파악하고 해결책을 모색하는 데 의의를 둔다. 문제점 해결을 위해 탐구 결과를 바탕으로 진로탐색의 긍정적인 효과를 거두는 것에 최종 목적이 있다. 연구 대상의 범위는 2010년 현재 부산광역시와 경상남도 소재 4년제 무용학과 졸업, 재학생을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 도구로 사용하는 설문지의 구성과 설문지 응답방법은 무용사회화와 성취목표성향, 진로결정수준, 진로탐색행동 등 총 80문항으로 구성으로 하여 객관성 고려,5단계 척도 및 4단계 척도로 응답하는 방식을 채택한다. 자료분석은 수집된 설문자료 data SPSS 프로그램을 통해 전산처리하였고 타당성과 신뢰도 검정을 위해 탐색적 요인분석과 Cronbach's 의 α값을 검증 후 일원분산분석 실시하였고, 무용사회화와 성취목표성향이 진로결정수준 및 탐색행동에 미치는 관계 규명을 위해 다중회귀분석 이용했다.
이와 같은 과정을 통하여 얻어진 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 무용전공자들의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 무용사회화와 성취목표 성향이 진로결정수준 및 진로탐색행동의 차이는 인지학적 사회와, 진로에 대한 확신 수준, 전공에 대한 확신 수준요인 모두 현재 재학생들보다 졸업생이 높은 것으로 나타난다. 진로미결정 수준에서는 4학년이 가장 높은 것으로 나타난 결과 현재 재학생들이 자신의 진로에 대한 확신이 미흡한 것으로 나타난다.
둘째, 무용전공자들의 전공분야에 따른 무용사회화와 성취목표 성향이 진로결정수준 및 진로탐색행동의 차이는 행동학적 사회화, 인지적 사회화, 진로에 대한 확신 수준, 전공에 대한 확신 수준, 자신에 대한 탐색행동요인 모두 한국무용 전공자들이 현대무용, 발레 ,기타전공자들보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 진로미결정 수준은 현대무용 전공자가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 무용전공자들의 연령에 따른 무용사회화와 성취목표 성향이 진로결정수준 및 진로탐색행동의 차이는 행동적사회화, 인지적사회화, 진로에 대한 확신수준, 전공에 대한 확신 수준요인 모두 30대 이상이 10대, 20대보다 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고, 진로미결정 수준은 20대가 30대 이상보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 무용전공자들의 무용경력에 따른 무용사회화와 성취목표 성향이 진로결정수준 및 진로탐색행동의 차이는 행동적 사회화요인과 인지적 사회화요인 모두 10~12년, 12년 이상, 1~3년보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 무용전공자들의 평균 무용시간에 따른 무용사회화와 성취목표 성향이 진로결정수준 및 진로탐색행동의 차이는 행동적 사회화, 인지적 사회화, 전공에 대한 확신 수준 모두 다 2시간 이상이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
여섯째, 무용전공자들의 성취목표성향은 진로결정수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
일곱째, 무용전공자들의 성취목표성향은 진로탐색행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.
여덟째, 무용사회화는 진로결정수준에 긍정적인 형향을 미친다.
