어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아행동문제의 관계 : 유아의 부정적 정서에 대한 어머니 대처양식의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국 문 초 록
이 연구에서는 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아행동문제, 유아의 부정적 정서에 대한 어머니의 대처양식의 관련된 변인의 경로와 매개효과를 검증하여 어머니의 자녀양육에 있어서 대처양식의 중요성을 밝히고자 하였다.
표본은 성남시, 천안시에 위치한 국공립어린이집 만 4-5세 유아를 둔 어머니 305명을 대상으로 심리적 안녕감척도 PWBS와 아동행동평가척도 K-CBCL, 유아의 부정적 정서에 대한 어머니의 대처양식척도 CCNES를 실시하여 응답자료를 분석하였다. 관계탐색을 하기 위한 네 개의 연구문제는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램으로 상관관계, 회귀분석을 통해 검증하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 심리적 안녕감이 높은 어머니일수록 삶의 목표가 있고 과거와 현재의 삶이 의미가 있다고 느끼며 질 높은 삶을 영위하고자 하며 유아행동문제에서는 정서불안정이 다른 행동문제 보다는 높게 나타났으나 일반유아대상이라 그런지 평균아래의 점수로 두드러지는 행동문제는 보이지 않았다. 유아가 부정적 정서를 보일 때 어머니는 대처양식으로 지지적 반응 중 문제중심의 반응을 주로 보였고 어머니의 비지지적 반응 중 최소화반응을 대체적으로 보였다.
둘째, 어머니의 심리적 안녕감이 유아행동에 미치는 영향력에서는 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였는데 어머니의 심리적 안녕감이 긍정적일수록 유아의 사회 ․ 정서발달이 긍정적이었다는 여러 연구들을 부분적으로 지지하며, 어머니의 우울 성향, 신경증적과 같은 심리적 특성이 높을수록 유아의 심리 ․ 행동적 부적응행동이 높게 나타났다. 어머니의 심리적 안녕감은 자신과 타인에 대한 이해나 조절의 정도를 결정해주기 때문에 유아의 긍적적 행동발달과 관련이 깊음을 알 수 있다. 어머니의 심리적 안녕감이 긍정적일수록 유아의 행동문제는 바람직한 방향으로 이루어짐을 시사한다.
셋째, 어머니가 삶의 목표와 방향 감각을 갖고 있고 신념이 있으며 생활의 목표와 목적이 뚜렷하고 주변환경을 잘 관리하는 환경통제력이 높을수록 유아의 부정적 정서에 대하여 어머니는 지지적인 반응을 보였다.
마지막으로, 어머니의 심리적 안녕감이 높을수록 유아의 공격성이 줄어들게 되며 어머니의 비지지적인 반응이 낮게 되고 그렇게 되면 유아의 공격성도 감소되었다. 반면, 위축, 우울 ․ 불안, 정서불안정은 어머니의 대처양식만이 유의한 예측변인으로 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과는 상관없이 어머니의 대처양식에 의해 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었다.
이 네 개의 연구결과는 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 유아행동문제의 관계에서 유아의 부정적 정서에 대한 어머니 대처양식이 매개역할을 한다는 점을 밝혀냈다. 한편 어머니의 심리적안녕감과 어머니의 대처양식이 유아행동문제에 영향으로 미치므로 유아-부모 간에 구체적인 상호작용기술, 올바른 부모코칭 프로그램을 개발하고 좀 더 구체적이고 지속적일 수 있는 부모교육이 필요하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Mother's psychological well being and the child's behavior problems, mediated effect of mother's coping style about child's negative emotions variables and parameters of the path to estimate the effects of mother's child-rearing in the importance of coping style and manner.
Samples, located in Seongnam and Cheonan public day care center, with children 4-5 years 305mothers with psychological well being(PWBS), Child Behavior Scale(K-CBCL), the mother of the child's negative emotions and coping style scale implementation (CCNES) the data were analyzed to answer. For exploration of the relationship problems of four in the SPSS 12.0 program, correlation, regression analyzed, the results were as follows for the verification.
