고등학생이 지각한 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생이 지각한 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감이 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 규명함으로써, 고등학생이 효과적으로 진로를 준비할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있는 부모교육과 진로 상담을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이러한 본 연구의 목적을 위하여 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생이 지각한 부모지지, 진로결정 효능감, 진로준비행동은 어떠한 관계가 있는가, 둘째, 부모지지는 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가, 셋째, 진로결정 효능감은 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가, 넷째, 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감은 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가이다.
본 연구에서는 서울과 경기 지역의 총 4개 일반계 고등학교에서 남, 여학생을 대상으로 조사한 357명의 설문지를 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 고등학생이 지각한 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감 및 진로준비행동은 어떠한 관계가 있는지 확인한 결과, 진로준비행동과 부모지지, 진로결정 효능감 요인 간에 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 부모지지의 하위 요인인 언어적 격려와 진로준비행동의 하위 요인인 취업준비활동 간의 상관은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 이를 제외한 모든 하위 요인들 간에는 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다.
둘째, 부모지지가 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 부모지지의 하위 요인 중 정서적 지지와 도구적 조력이 진로준비행동에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 고등학생의 부모의 정서적 지지와 도구적 조력을 지각하는 수준이 높을수록 진로준비행동 수준이 높아지는 것으로 확인되었다.
셋째, 진로결정 효능감이 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 진로결정 효능감의 하위 요인 중 직업정보 효능감, 미래계획 효능감, 문제해결 효능감은 진로준비행동에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 목표선택 효능감은 진로준비행동에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 고등학생의 직업정보 효능감, 미래계획 효능감, 문제해결 효능감은 높을수록, 목표선택 효능감은 낮을수록 진로준비행동 수준이 높아지는 것으로 확인되었다.
넷째, 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감이 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 부모지지 하위 요인 중 정서적 지지와 도구적 조력, 진로결정 효능감 하위 요인 중 직업정보 효능감과 미래계획 효능감은 진로준비행동에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 목표선택 효능감은 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 부모지지와 진로결정 효능감이 고등학생의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 고등학생이 실제적으로 진로를 준비하는 행동의 수준을 높이기 위하여 그들이 지각한 부모지지의 수준을 향상시키는 것이 필요하며, 특히 정서적 지지와 도구적 조력을 지각하는 수준을 정확히 파악하여 부모 교육과 진로상담을 진행해야 할 것이다. 또한 고등학생의 진로준비행동 수준을 높이기 위하여 진로결정 효능감 중 직업정보 효능감, 미래계획 효능감, 목표선택 효능감에 주목하여 체계적이고 전략적인 조력을 해야 할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to provide basic information and materials in building up the high school students' career guidance and counseling program by examining the influence between perceived parent support and career decision-making self-efficacy on high school students' career preparation behavior.
In order to solve the above-mentioned purpose, the following research problems were set up. First, how does the relationship between the parent support, career decision-making self efficacy, and career preparation behavior of high school student? Second, how far can the parent support prove the career preparation behavior of high school student? Third, how far can the career decision-making self efficacy prove the career preparation behavior of high school student? Fourth, how far can the parent support and career decision-making self efficacy prove the career preparation behavior of high school student?
This study utilized SPSS 18.0 program to manage the data of 357 questionnaires obtained from four high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province as for correlation analysis and regression analysis.
The summary of this study is as follows: First, there were significant positive correlations between parent support, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior. There were no static correlations between verbal encouragement in parent support and getting-job activity in career preparation behavior. But there were static correlations between other sub-factors. Second, parent support had a significant influence on career preparation behavior of high school student. The parent support level is higher, it confirmed that career preparation behavior level of high school student rises. Among the sub-factors of parent support, emotional support and instrumental help played an important role in career preparation behavior of high school student. Third, career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant influence on career preparation behavior of high school student. Among the sub-factors of career decision-making self-efficacy, job-information self-efficacy, future-plan self-efficacy and problem-solution self-efficacy levels are higher and goal-choice self-efficacy level is lower, it confirmed that career preparation behavior level of high school student rises.
Last, as a result of investigating the influence of parent support and career decision-making self-efficacy on career preparation behavior level of high school student, emotional support, instrumental help in parent support and job-information self-efficacy, future-plan self-efficacy, problem-solution self-efficacy and goal-choice self-efficacy in career decision-making self-efficacy proved to have a significant influence.
Based on the results of this study, parent support and career decision-making self-efficacy turned out to have a significant impact on career preparation behavior of high school student. Therefore, counselors when counseling with high school student, should understand the client's level of parent support and career decision-making self-efficacy and employ different interventions based on the individual's situation.
