「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식 및 요구 조사 = Survey of Perception and Needs of Teachers and Parents on 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens 」

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」의 효율적 운영을 위한 기초자료 마련을 위해 하모니 선생님이 배치된 유치원의 교사와 학부모의 인식과 요구 및 사업 운영 실태를 알아보고자 한다.
연구에 사용된 측정도구는 구조화된 설문지를 본 연구자가 수정·보완하여 사용하였다.
연구대상은 D시의 하모니 선생님이 배치된 유치원에 다니고 있는 유아의 학부모 280명, 교사 300명을 대상으로 하였으며 자료 분석은 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 사용하였다.

본 연구를 통하여 나타난 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다.

첫째, 해당 유치원의 사업 운영 경향을 살펴보면 하모니 선생님은 주로 ‘12:00~16:00’ 의 오후 시간대에 양육활동 및 생활지도 등의 활동을 주로 하고 있으며 각 기관의 실정에 맞도록 특색 있게 하모니 선생님을 활용할 필요가 있음이 조사 분석되었다.
둘째, 교사는 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」과 하모니 선생님에 대한 기본적인 인식과 태도가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났으며, 교사와 하모니 선생님과의 관계도 일방적이지 않고 상호우호적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아에게는 어떤 영향을 미칠 것인가에 대한 인식은 대체로 긍정적이었으며 구체적인 영향의 내용은 선행연구와 차이를 보였다.
셋째, 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」과 하모니 선생님에 대한 학부모의 인식은 교사와 마찬가지로 대체로 긍정적인 것으로 분석되었고, 학부모는 유아가 갖는 정서적 유대감과 안정감을 중요시 여기며 유아의 전통교육과 인성교육 및 예절교육에 대해 큰 도움이 되는 것으로 인식하고 있었는데 이는 선행연구와도 일치한다.
넷째, 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」과 하모니 선생님에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식이 차이를 보이는지 살펴보았을 때 하모니 선생님의 필요성에 대해 교사와 학부모는 대체로 긍정적인 효과를 기대하며 필요성을 인지하고 있었으며 그 이유는 입장에 따른 차이를 보였다. 유아에게 미치는 영향에 대해서는 교사와 학부모 모두 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것이라고 생각하는 의견이 많았으나 학부모는 큰 영향을 끼치지 못할 것이라고 생각하는 의견이 교사보다 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 하모니 선생님의 활동에 대해서는 교사와 학부모가 대체로 만족하는 것으로 나타났고 만족하는 이유는 입장에 따른 차이를 보였으며, 활동에 만족하는 교사의 의견이 학부모의 의견보다 상대적으로 더 높게 나타났다.
다섯째, 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」과 하모니 선생님의 발전을 위한 요구 사항을 살펴보면 하모니 선생님의 선정의 어려움이 있으므로 개선해야 한다는 의견이 나타났으며 하모니 선생님의 활용 분야, 하모니 선생님을 위한 연수와 자원봉사시간의 운영에 대한 요구의 의견이 나타났다.

이상과 같은 결과로 보아 「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」과 하모니 선생님에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식은 대체로 긍정적이며 더 나은 효과를 기대하고 있는 것을 알 수 있으므로 이와 같은 의견을 수렴하고 지역사회의 지원을 받아「유치원 3세대 하모니 교육정책사업」을 더욱 개선·발전시킬 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is to learn about the kindergarten teachers and parents' thoughts and the management situation in order to prepare basic data for efficient running of 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」
Measuring instrument used for the study has been adjusted/improved by the researcher who had seen the structured questionaries.
Subjects were 280 parents and 300 instructors of children who had been going to kindergarten in city D where Harmony teachers had been posted. SPSS 12.0 program has been used to analyze the data.

The results were as the following.

First of all, studying business management of the kindergarten has taught us that the Harmony teachers were spending most of the time between 12:00~16:00 on nursing and giving guidance on living and that there were different places that need to utilize the Harmony teachers in different ways.

Secondly, the teachers had positive understanding and attitude towards 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」 and the Harmony teachers. The relationship between the instructors and Harmony teachers were mutually friendly. Also, opinions about how it would affect the children was relatively positive and the details about the affects were different from the previous research.

Thirdly, the parents thought of 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」 and Harmony teachers in a positive way similar to the instructors. They emphasized the importance of emotional bond and security. They also recognized that the children's traditional education and education on humanity and courtesy are very helpful. This is consistent with the result from previous research.

Fourthly, instructors and parents has shown positive reaction to the need for 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」 and Harmony teachers, but they has different reasons. Even thought they both believed that the project would have desirable effect on the children, the parents did not have as much expectation as the instructors did. They both were satisfied with Harmony teachers' activities in spite of different reasons. Instructors were more satisfied than the parents.

Finally, requests for 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」 and Harmony teachers to improve included developing better ways to appoint Harmony teachers, training Harmony teachers according to their special field, and creating volunteer work opportunities.

In the light of these results, the parents and instructors have positive opinions on 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」and Harmony teachers and they are expecting nothing but better things to come. Therefore, 「The 3rd Generation Harmony Education Policy Project for Kindergartens」 needs to be supported by local society for further growth and improvement.
