공과대학 연구실 연구기록관리 표준화 방안에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Methods for Standardization of Research Records Management in Institute of Technology Laboratories

국문 초록 (Abstract)

공학 연구 부문에서는 논문 표절, 연구결과 조작과 같은 문제가 발생하고 있으며, 특허관련 분쟁 또한 많이 일어난다. 이에 따라 연구에 대한 의혹을 해소하기 위해 연구의 진실성을 검증하거나, 지식재산권에 관한 법적 분쟁에 대응하기 위하여 연구기록물을 증거로 제시할 수 있어야 한다. 그러나 공과대학 연구실의 연구기록 관리는 아직 초보적 단계이다. 연구자들이 준용할 수 있는 관련 규정 및 모범적 사례도 부족하여 체계적인 연구기록물 관리에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 연구실 자체적으로 체계적인 연구기록물 관리를 수행하기 위해서는 연구과정 전반에서 활용 가능한 기록관리 표준화 방안이 필요하다.
본 연구에서는 먼저 연구실의 연구기록물 관리 현황을 분석하였다. 분석 대상은 공과대학 연구실이다. 구체적으로 건축공학, 신소재공학, 원자력공학 연구실을 방문하여 연구업무를 관찰하고, 인터뷰를 병행하였다. 그 산출물을 통해 세 연구실의 공통적인 연구 프로세스를 분석하고, 각 단계에서 생산되는 연구기록물을 범주별로 구분하였다. 더불어 연구기록물의 종류와 시스템, 관련 규정의 측면에서 연구기록물 관리 방법을 알아보았다. 그리고 연구기록관리 방법에 대한 문제점을 규정, 기록관리 과정, 인프라의 측면에서 살펴보았다.
이렇듯 현장조사와 문헌연구를 병행한 내용을 토대로 연구실의 연구기록관리의 문제점을 드러내었으며, 문제 해결을 위한 연구기록관리 표준화 방안을 제시하였다. 그 첫째는 연구기록 관리 규정, 교육 및 시스템 구축 등에 대한 인프라의 확립이다. 둘째는 기록관리 과정의 체계화, 구체화로 제시하였다. 이 두 가지를 통해 본 논문은 공과대학 연구실에서 준용할 수 있는 연구기록물 관리 표준화 방안을 제안하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In technology research field, problems such as plagiarism and manipulation of papers happen sometimes. Furthermore, legal cases related with patent conflict occur frequently. On this subject, the interested parties should be able to present evidence to resolve doubt about research authenticity and intellectual property. But record keeping in technology laboratory is in an early stage. Due to the lack of association rules and example cases in research records management, the researchers have difficulty in applying to the necessary evidence. Therefore, in order to perform the systematic research and prevent conflict in the laboratory, it is necessary to standardize research record keeping methods.
I analyzed the present state of research record management. The target of this thesis is institutes of technology laboratories. First of all I visited the three laboratories-colleges of architecture, new material and nuclear engineering. I had interviews with researchers to see how their real situations are. Through the product from the laboratories, I had an analysis on their general record keeping process and categorized records produced in each experimental stage. The next, I identified research record keeping in the aspect of records type, system and association rules. And the problems of research record keeping were considered in terms of the regulations, record keeping process and infrastructure.
This thesis reveals the problems of research record keeping on the basis of field survey and literature research and suggests the record management standardization as a solution. The first is that infrastructure should be established: the regulation of record keeping, education and system building, and so on. The second is that record keeping should be specified in systematic and detailed process. Thus, this study has a meaning to propose standardized process of records management which can be applied in the research laboratories.
