웹기반 수행평가를 위한 e-포트폴리오 시스템의 개발 및 적용

In 7th Educational Curriculum currently applied, performance assessment has been implemented to inspect and evaluate the achievement of students on occasion whenever one chapter is finished in addition to regular assessment with a written examination. Currently schools have implemented performance assessment with study paper, and applied analogue traditional portfolio method which is to collect the results in personal file or recording book after performance assessment.
However, there are many conveniences and weak points in using this existing analogue traditional portfolio method, because it is difficult to store and keep data for long time, and to search and practically use that data, and also it is difficult to make full use of various data like media data including photos, video, etc.
The purpose of this study is to consider the educational effect of e-portfolio system on performance assessment by developing e-portfolio system for web-based performance assessment and applying it to students. For this purpose, this study applied e-portfolio in the way of making students solve 4-stage problems by achievement level, and making them keep their record in their individual portfolio folder after constructing the homepage of e-portfolio. Additionally this study applied WIKI based discussion class with menu of discussion room. In developing system, this study used Ohpy, which has been currently served as homepage-construction service, for the purpose of this study, without constructing homepage, and this study was applied to mathematics which is easy to suggest problem by achievement level.
As the result of applying web-based e-portfolio which was developed in this study to 3rd year's mathematics class in metropolitan city, it was greeted by students, it was efficient to students because it is easy to keep, practically use, and search assessment report, and for mathematics class which e-portfolio was applied to, students showed relatively higher satisfaction.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 적용되고 있는 7차 교육과정은 필답고사를 통한 정기적인 평가 외에도 단원별로 수시로 학생의 성취 정도를 점검하고 평가하는 수행평가 방법이 이루어지고 있다. 현재 일선 학교에서는 학습지를 이용한 수행평가를 실시하고 있으며, 평가 후 수행평가 결과물을 개인 파일이나 기록장에 모아두는 아날 로그식의 전통적 포트폴리오 방법을 적용하고 있다.
그러나 이러한 기존의 아날로그식 전통적 포트폴리오 방법은 분실 등 자료를 오랫동안 저장, 보관하기 힘들다는 점과 보관중인 자료를 쉽게 검색하고 활용하기 어려운 점, 그리고 사진자료, 동영상 자료 등 미디어 자료 등 다양한 자료를 활용하기 어렵다는 점에서 많은 불편함과 단점이 지적되고 있다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 웹기반 수행평가를 위한 e-포트폴리오 시스템을 개발하여 학생들에게 적용해 보고 수행 평가 활동에 있어 e-포트폴리오 시스템의 교육적 효과를 고찰해 보았다. 이를 위해 e-포트폴리오의 홈페이지를 구축하여 4단계의 수준별 문제를 해결하게 하고, 채점하여 개인별 포트폴리오 폴더에 보관하는 방식으로 e-포트폴리오 적용하였다. 또한 토론방 메뉴를 이용하여 WIKI를 적용한 토론학습도 적용해 보았다. 시스템 개발 측면에 있어서는 홈페이지 구축 보다는 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 수행 평가 및 e-포트폴리오의 적용에 주안점을 두기 위해 홈페이지 구축은 현재 나와 있는 홈페이지 구축 서비스인 Ohpy 홈페이지 구축 서비스를 이용하였으며, 수준별 과제 제시가 용이한 수학 교과에 본 연구를 적용해 보았다.
본 연구에서 개발된 웹기반의 e-포트폴리오 시스템을 광역시 소재 3학년 학생들에게 수학과에 국한하여 적용시켜본 결과, 학생들의 호응도뿐만 아니라 평가지의 보관 및 활용, 검색이 용이해 학생들에게 효율적이며, e-포트폴리오 시스템을 적용한 수학 교과의 경우 학습자의 만족도 또한 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났다.
