초등 교사들의 수영 교육에 대한 인식 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등 교사들의 수영 교육에 대한 주된 인식과 그 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 파악하는데 있다.
이를 위해 대구시(중구, 달서구, 수성구, 달성군)와 경북 지역(경산, 구미, 칠곡, 김천, 울진, 영덕, 청도, 울릉)에 근무하는 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며 잘못 기재하였거나 타당도가 떨어지는 설문지를 제외하고 총 311부를 대상으로 분석하였다.
이 연구에서 사용한 설문지는 성재경(2004)의 질문지와 김기만(2004), 서미옥(2003)의 질문지를 재구성하여 사용하였다. 단, 설문지의 신뢰도를 높이고 정확성을 기하기 위해서 구미교육청과 경산교육청 관내 초등학교 교사 50여명을 대상으로 예비 조사를 실시하였으며 연구의 내용을 심도 있게 알아보기 위해 대구교대 교육대학원 체육학과 2학년에 재학 중인 교사 6명과 체육석사학위자 2명을 직접 면담하였다.
자료 처리를 위해 SPSS 14.0K for Windows를 이용하여 작성된 문항에 대한 공통요인을 추출하기 위하여 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시하였고 성별, 지역별, 교육경력별로 모수요인 분석을 실시하였으며 사후 검증으로 일원분산분석을 하였다. 나머지 문항은 교차분석법을 실시하였으며, 연구 분석 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 초등 교사들의 수영 교육에 대한 주된 인식은 수영교육의 자신감, 수영교육의 효율적인 지도방안의 외적 요인, 수영교육의 효율적인 지도방안의 내적 요인, 수영 교육의 필요성, 초등학교 교사들의 수영 교육의 지도 실태 및 문제점으로 나타났다.
둘째, 초등 교사들의 수영 교육의 주된 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 자신감과 필요성에 대한 인식은 성별에 따른 차이가 있으며 남자가 여자에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 효율적인 지도방안의 외적 요인과 내적 요인에 대한 인식은 지역에 따른 차이가 있으며 중소도시, 대도시, 농어촌 순으로 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 지도 실태 및 문제점에 대한 인식은 성별, 지역별, 교육경력별로 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to analyze the main understanding of elementary school teachers on swimming education and the factors that cause this main understanding.
A questionnaire has been distributed to the elementary school teachers in Daegu city (Jung-gu, Dalseo-gu, Soosung-gu and Dalseong-goon) and Gyungbuk province (Gyungsan, Gumi, Chilgok, Gimcheon, Uooljin, Youngdeok, Chongdo and Uoolng) to achieve the purpose of this study. 311 questionnaires have been completely analyzed except some returns which have mistakes and low validity.
For the survey, Jaegyung Sung(2004)'s questionnaire, Giman Kim(2004)'s questionnaire and Miok Seo(2003)'s questionnaire have been reorganized. Preliminary investigations have been done to 50 teachers who were woking in elementary schools in the Gumi office of education and Gyungsan office of education to improve reliability and accuracy of the survey. Furthermore, six teachers studying physical education in Daegu graduate school of education and two teachers having master's degree in physical education have been questioned for the pre-survey.
Exploratory data analysis has been done on the collected materials to abstract the common factors using SPSS 14.0K for Windows. The results were analyzed by gender, area and teaching career on collected materials. One-way analysis of variance has been used for the verification and cross analysis has been done for the rest. The following conclusion has been made as a result.
First, confidence, external factors of effective teaching way, internal factors of effective teaching way, necessity, the actual teaching condition and problems are appeared as the main perception of elementary school teachers in swimming education.
Second, in the consciousness of elementary school teachers on swimming education according to gender, male teachers showed a higher perception than female teachers in confidence and necessity. The perception in external and internal factors of effective teaching way vary according to the area. Small and medium sized cities showed the highest affirmative view, followed by the metropolis and rural areas, which showed the lowest affirmative view. There are no significant differences according to gender, area and teaching career in the perception toward the actual teaching condition and problems.
