The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program on childrens' social and metal development. The object was set for 40 children of age 4.
The subjects are Firstly, to study on the effect of the Anti- prejudice, Integrated Education Program though The 2007 Revision Curriculum on children's whole social and mental development, secondly the effect of the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program though The 2007 Revision Curriculum on the social development of children, thirdly the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program though The 2007 Revision Curriculum on the mental development of children.
The research on the subjects were carried out by comparing a group taught with the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program for 6 month, with the group of children who wasn't taught by the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program. Both of the group consisted of 20 children. The former group was taught with Children in the special school, throughout 6 month of research. The assessment tools used to examine the children were supported by The Office of Education in Jeju Special Self- Governing Province
There was some developments on minor factors of social development, which were forming age groups, solving the social problems, acting morally, playing a role in his society, having self- esteem, having some idea on the environmental aspect and interacting with elders. Also there was improvement for the mental development, such as, controling emotion, and understanding emotions.
As a result the Anti-prejudice, Integrated Education Program has a positive effect on the children's social, and mental development.
