데이트 관계 깊이와 폭력 유형에 따른 여대생의 책임귀인과 용서가능성 평가

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 데이트 관계 깊이(친밀 vs 비친밀)와 폭력 유형(질투 vs 비질투)이 파트너 폭력행동에 대한 책임귀인과 용서 가능성에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 책임귀인은 상대방이 한 부정적인 행동의 의도, 비난받을만함, 이기적인 동기에 대한 인지적 방식이다. 용서 가능성은 상대방의 가해행동을 얼마나 용서할 수 있겠는지에 대한 것이다. 연구를 위해 여대생 64명이 참가하였으며, 데이트 폭력 시나리오를 개별적으로 들은 후에 질문지를 체크하는 순서로 진행되었다. 데이트 폭력 시나리오는 관계 깊이와 폭력 유형에 따라 데이트 폭력 네 가지 상황을 녹음한 내용으로 이루어져있다. 질문지는 관계 귀인 척도(RAM)의 책임귀인 세 문항과 용서가능성의 한 문항을 사용하였고 자료 분석은 중다변량분석(MANOVA)를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 책임귀인에 대한 관계 깊이의 주효과가 나타났고 관계 깊이, 폭력 유형 둘 간의 상호작용 효과도 유의하였다. 그리고 용서 가능성에 대해서는 관계 깊이의 주효과만 유의하였다.
본 연구는 그동안 분리되어 연구되었던 관계깊이와 폭력유형을 함께 고려함으로써 두 변인이 동시에 책임귀인, 용서 가능성 평가에 어떤 영향을 주는지 살펴볼 수 있다는 데에 의의가 있다. 이는 데이트 폭력 상황의 다양한 상황을 고려하고 통합적인 시각을 갖게 할 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구에 대한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to find out how the intimacy of the date relationship and the type of violence affect the responsibility attribution of a partner's violent behavior and the likelihood of forgiving. Responsibility attribution is the way of recognition on the date partner's intention of negative behaviors, the extent of being reproachable, and selfish motivation. The likelihood of forgiving is the possibility that victims can forgive transgressor's behavior. 64 female undergraduate students participated in this study. After listening to the scenario, they completed a questionnaire. The date violence scenario consists of 4-type situations according to the different conditions of the intimacy of relationship and types of violence. The questionnaire includes 3-items of relationship attribution scale and 1-item of likelihood of forgiving. MANOVA analysis was used. The results are as follows: First, the main effect of the relationship intimacy was significant on the responsibility attribution. Second, there was an interaction effect between the intimacy of relationship and type of violence. Third, the relationship intimacy's main effect was significant only on the likelihood of forgiving.
The present study has a valuable implication that the intimacy of relationship and the type of violence, which have been studied separately, were considered together to find out how they affect the responsibility attribution and the likelihood of forgiving at the same time. Therefore, this study provided an integrative view which could consider the various situations of date violence. Limitations of this study and recommendation for further studies were discussed.
