유아의 언어창의성과 가상적 내러티브, 어휘력, 이야기 이해력과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 가상적 내러티브와 관련되어지는 언어창의성의 구성요소에 대한 이론적 토대를 마련할 뿐만 아니라 어휘력, 이야기 이해력과 관계되는 언어적 창의성의 관련성을 밝혀 현장에서의 실천 방향성을 제시하는 토대를 이루는데 그 목적이 있다.
이와 같은 목적을 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다.
1. 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성과 가상적 내러티브와의 관계는 어떠한가?
2. 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성과 유아의 어휘력과의 관계는 어떠한가?
3. 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성과 유아의 이야기 이해력과의 관계는 어떠한가?
본 연구의 대상은 J도에 소재하고 만 4세와 만 5세 학급이 있는 T어린이집과 H어린이집의 만 4세반 유아 17명과 만 5세반 유아 23명 총 40명으로 선정되었다. 연구절차는 본 연구를 2009년 10월 5일～11월 20일(7주) 동안 언어창의성검사, 가상적 내러티브 검사, 이야기 이해력검사, 어휘력 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였고 언어창의성과 가상적 내러티브, 어휘력, 이야기 이해력의 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson 적률상관계수를 산출하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 가상적 내러티브 발달수준과의 관계를 알아보았는데 언어창의성 총점과 언어창의성 하위요인인 유창성, 독창성, 융통성 모두 가상적 내러티브 발달수준과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인과 가상적 내러티브의 구성요소 출현의 관계를 살펴보았는데, 언어창의성 하위요인인 유창성, 독창성과 언어창의성 총점은 가상적 내러티브의 구성요소 출현과 비교적 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인과 어휘력의 관계를 살펴보았는데, 언어창의성 하위요인의 총점과 표현 어휘력, 수용 어휘력 모두에서 비교적 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타나 유아의 언어창의성은 수용 및 표현 어휘력과 깊은 관련성이 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 언어창의성 중 융통성의 수준은 수용 및 표현 어휘력에 깊은 관련성이 있는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 유창성은 유아의 표현 어휘력과 관련성이 있음이 나타났다.
셋째, 유아의 언어창의성 하위요인과 이야기 이해력과의 관계를 살펴보았는데, 언어창의성과 이야기 이해력 간에는 깊은 관계성이 나타났으며 언어창의성의 하위요인 중 융통성, 유창성, 독창성의 순으로 이야기 이해력 총점 및 추론적 이해에서 높은 상관이 나타났다. 하지만 사실적 이해의 측면에서는 언어창의성의 하위요인 모두 낮은 상관을 나타내거나 상관이 나타나지 않은 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 언어창의성의 하위요인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성은 이야기의 구조를 이해하는 사실적 이해의 측면보다 다시 이야기의 내용을 유추하여 해석하고 생각해보는 추론적 이해의 측면과 더욱 관계되어지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study are to examine the relations between Young Children's Fictional narrative and verbal creativity components, to see the practical directions in the relations between vocabulary, story comprehensions
The study at tempted to answer the following questions:
1. Is there any relation between Early children's verbal creativity components such as fluency, flexibility, originality and fictional narrative?
2. Is there any relation between Early children's verbal creativity components such as fluency, flexibility, originality and vocabulary?
3. Is there any relation between Early children's verbal creativity components such as fluency, flexibility, originality and story comprehension?
The subjects of this study were forty, four-year-old and five-year-old class children. In order to assess children's verbal creativity, Verbal test of TTCT Form A which is translated and introduced by Kim Yeong chae was used. Also young children's of fictional narratives were measured through individual interview. In order to assess young children's vocabulary ability, REVT was used, story comprehension was examined the test which made and completed respectively. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation analysis.
The result of the study are as follow:
First, the results of correlation between children's verbal creativity components and fictional narrative show that elaboration which is the factors of verbal creativity such as fluency, flexibility, originality represent significant correlation.
Secondly, the results of correlation between children's verbal creativity components and the receptive and expressive vocabulary show that elaboration which is the factors of verbal creativity total score represent significant correlation. Also the flexibility was showed the results of correlation between there ceptive vocabulary, expressive vocabulary. The fluency was showed the resulted of correlation between only expressive vocabulary.
Thirdly, the results of correlation between children's verbal creativity components and story comprehension show that elaboration which is the factors of verbal creativity total score represent significant correlation. Also flexibility, fluency, originary was showed the results of correlation between the total score and traditional comprehension of story comprehension.
