사용자 이용 패턴 분석을 통한 효과적인 소셜 네트워크 서비스 인터페이스 적용 방안 연구 = (A) study on effective social network service-interface application method using analysis of use-pattern of internet user

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 웹 2.0의 출현과 함께 인맥형성을 지향하는 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 보편화는 웹 환경에 많은 영향을 주며 발전해 나가고 있다. 사용자는 인터넷을 통해 다양한 방법으로 자신을 알릴 수 있게 되었으며, 온라인상의 관계를 통해 지속적인 만남이 이루어지게 되었다. 이와 같이 사용자의 참여와 공유가 밑바탕이 되는 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 사용자가 데이터를 직접 생산할 뿐 만 아니라 사용자의 적극적인 참여를 통해 정보의 공유 역할을 하게 되었다. 이러한 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 현재에도 생성되고 소멸되기를 반복하고 있다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 국내, 외로 활발하게 발전하고 있으며 국내에서는 웹을 기반으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스가 형성되어 현재 많은 사이트가 정보공유와 인맥형성의 장으로 사용되고 있다. 이와 같은 환경 속에서 제공되고 있는 웹기반 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 많은 사용자가 사용, 참여하는 객체로 전반적인 사용자의 이용 패턴을 분석을 통한 사이트의 개발이 필요하다고 판단되었다.
이에 본 연구에서는 웹 환경의 변화에 따른 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 개념을 명확히 하고 연구 대상인 사용자 인터페이스에 대해 구성요소를 도출하였다. 먼저 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 대한 분석을 통하여 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 유형에 따라 관계 지향형 소셜 네트워크 서비스와 정보 생산형 소셜 네트워크 서비스로 분류하여 이를 바탕으로 국내 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 인터페이스 이용 패턴을 조사하여 정리하고 효과적인 소셜 네트워크 서비스 적용 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
본 연구 과정을 통하여 도출된 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 대한 사용자의 이용 패턴을 바탕으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 인터페이스를 구성할 때 고려해야 할 사항들을 설문 분석을 통해 사용자의 선호도와 이용 패턴을 파악할 수 있었다. 인터페이스의 구성요소에 따라 레이아웃, 메뉴, 아이콘, 색상, 타이포그래피로 구분하여 조사하였고 그 밖에 사용 패턴 조사를 통해 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 인터페이스 적용 방안을 도출할 수 있었다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 앞으로도 다양한 사회적 연결망을 만들어 가는데 중요한 역할을 할 것이며 온라인, 오프라인의 구분 없이 더욱 활발한 모습을 띨 것으로 예상하는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Along with the recent appearance of Web 2.0, the popularity of social network services which provides human networking has greatly influenced the web environment and is on the rapid development. Users are now able to express themselves through various ways, and consistent relationship was possible due to online networking. Just like this trend, the social network service which is based on the user's participation and sharing enabled users to produce data by themselves, and has played as a provider of information sharing through users' active participation. These social network services are going through the repetitive cycle of creation and termination. Also, social network services have actively developed worldwide, and many sites in Korea have become the arena of information sharing and human networking with the help of many web-based social network services.
These web-based social network services are sites which are used and participated by many users, so a need was found to provide a structure of the site through user's site-usage pattern analysis.
In this study, a clear definition of social network service is provided through theoretical observation, and has introduced user interface as a sample. First, through analysis on social network service, these services were categorized as relationship-oriented and information-producing social network services. Under this categorization, the interface usage patterns of Korean social network service were researched to provide effective applying alternatives for social network services.
In light of this, the users' preference and usage patterns were found through surveys which included considerations for consisting social network service interfaces under users's usage patterns. According to interface constituents, layouts, menus, icons, colors, typographies were categorized and surveyed, along with the introduction of interface applications through the usage pattern survey.
The social network service will play an important role of creating various social connecting service in the nearest future, and it will evolve into more active pattern on online and offline networking.
