As the consumers' perception of social problems is increasing through the revitalization of the domestic and international market economy, the importance of the corporate's active and strategic social contribution activities are arising. Recently, the consumers show their interests not only in purchase of products and services but also in corporate's active social contribution activities and their demanding levels are growing higher. Thus, corporate must conduct strategic social contribution activities which maintain constant interests in conducting active social responsibility and its' role reflecting consumers' diversified expectations.
Therefore, to identify the impacts of the social contribution activities perceived by the consumers on the reliability of the corporate, the identification and the re-purchase intension, depending on the relevance of corporate and individuals, questionnaire survey was conducted from the consumers in 4 regions of Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Pusan, Gyeongnam, Gangwon-do, Daejeon, Chungnam. Total 311 questionnaires out of the collected questionnaires were used in analysis and employed SPSS 17.0 as statistic analysis method.
The results of this study are as follows.
First, since consumers have favorable and constant interests in the corporate's social contribution activity, the consumers' response represented positive. In addition, they consider social service and environment protection activities among the corporate's social contribution activities as the most important activities, and become aware of that by the public media, which means that the consumers perceive positively of social contribution activities and it is important to conduct them reflecting consumers' expectations of the social contribution activities.
Second, it showed that the higher the relevance of individual is, the higher their perception of the social contribution activities become, and the higher the relevance of the corporation and the individuals is, the more increased the satisfaction of the corporation's social contribution activities becomes, which mean that strategic marketing in the social contribution activities conducted by the incorporate needs to be revitalized more, reflecting type of business and the relevance of the incorporation an image, and the value and the interests of the individuals.
Third, it presented that the more they satisfy with the corporate's social contribution activities, the higher consumers' reliability grows. While the perceived satisfaction of the social contribution activities impacts on the reliability identification and forms the psychological relationship, the perception of social contribution activities does not have impact on the reliability, which mean that the consumer's satisfaction on the perceived social contribution activities builds positive image of the corporate and by increasing through the strategic and effective marketing communication activities, constant relationship between the consumers and the corporate can be established.
Fourth, it appeared that identification of perceived satisfaction of the social contribution activities and the consumer's reliability of corporate has impact on the re-purchase intension of the consumers. The satisfaction of the social contribution activities influences indirectly and the higher the reliability on the corporation and the higher identification are, the higher re-purchase intension shows, which mean that through perceived social contribution activities, the corporate has to build constant relationship with the consumers group with high reliability and identification and to make every efforts for the consumers to have positive and favorable perception, and to maintain sustainable relationship management realizing it's role and responsibility for the society.
The meaning of this study is to verify empirically the impacts of the corporation's social contribution activities on the maintaining relationship between consumers and corporate, and on the re-purchase intension, and is to suggest for corporate the direction of establishing efficient and specific marketing strategies reflecting consumers' expectation in planning strategic social contribution activities for the purpose of sustainable management. In addition, by promoting social responsibility through the consumer's reaction of the social contribution activities, the corporate can build and maintain relationship with consumers.
