This research addresses that innovative manufacturing practices such as human resource development(HRD) practice, quality improvement(QI) practice and just in time(JIT) practice have a direct and indirect impact on performance, considering the moderating effect of organizational culture.
The results of analysis for 234 domestic manufacturing enterprises that responded to the survey are as follows. First, HRD practice has a positive impact on QI practice and JIT practice, and QI practice has a positive impact on JIT practice. Second, HRD practice, QI practice and JIT practice all have a positive impact on operations performance. Lastly, the relationship between innovative manufacturing practices and performance depends on organizational culture.
This research provides the new point of view for the relationship among innovative manufacturing practices and for organizational culture to moderate the relationship between innovative manufacturing practices and performance, as proving empirically.
