A study on the effect of participation on the creative dance class into the development of emotional intelligence.

This research aims at closely looking into the effect of elementary students' participation on creative dancing class. The research first set a population with students being in school then choose three hundred elementary students from six schools as the research object.
To collect data, questionnaire was done through the schools; one has creative dancing class, the other doesn't have one with explaining about this research to the teachers who was taking charge of the class.
The questionnaire done through 4th grade to 6th grade elementary school. Also, the research used a test developed by 문용린(1997) for emotional intelligence. This test is formed with 5 types, so the research choose suitable one to the grade we focused.
The research analyzed the data collected with T-Test, One way-ANOVA, post-hoc analysis by using Duncan, regression analysis in accordance with the aim by using Window SPSS PC+V 12.0. Accordingly, the research got the following result after analyzing the data in accordance with the research procedure and method.
First, the result has shown the partial difference in development of emotional intelligence of elementary school students according to the peculiar property of vital statistics. Also, there was a distinct difference in emotional application among the subordinate variables of emotional intelligence according to the grades as well as in emotional expression according to the gender.
Secondly, the result has shown the degree of participation on creative dance class doesn't effect on elementary students' development of emotional intelligence.
Finally, the result has shown whether participate on the creative dance class or not effects on elementary students' development of emotional intelligence.
