다문화 가정 아동 학습자들의 한국어 발달 연구 = A study of korean language development of children learners in multicultural family

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들의 언어 습득·발달 과정을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다.
아동 학습자들의 언어 습득 및 발달은 개인적인 특성과 가정환경, 교육환경 등 사회 환경적 요인에 많은 영향을 받는다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들과 환경적 요인이 서로 다른 일반 가정 아동 학습자들을 대상으로 여러 가지 검사 도구를 이용하여, 그들의 언어 발달 과정에서 나타나는 다양한 현상들을 음운·통사·어휘 세 부분으로 나누어서 살펴보았다. 그 결과 기초 어휘를 제외하고 음운·통사·어휘 모든 면에서 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들이 일반 가정 아동 학습자들에 비해서 언어 발달이 지연되는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 현상이 나타나는 이유를 가정환경과 교육환경 등 사회 환경적인 요인에 의한 것으로 보고, 사회 정책을 반영한 지도 방안과 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들을 위한 한국어 지도 방안을 제시 하였다.
이 연구는 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들의 언어 습득·발달 정도를 국어학적으로 해석하고, 이를 일반 가정 아동 학습자들과의 비교를 통해 지금까지 많이 연구되지 않았던 아동 학습자들의 한국어 습득·발달 과정을 알아보았다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
이 연구를 통해 다문화 가정 아동 학습자들의 언어 습득·발달 정도를 알아보고, 그에 맞는 적절한 지도를 통해 다문화 가정 아동학습자들의 한국어 발달에 조금이라도 도움이 되기를 바라며, 이 연구가 아동 학습자의 한국어 습득·발달을 위해 널리 쓰이기를 기대해 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to examine the Korean language acquisition and development of children learners in multicultural family.
The language acquisition and development of children learners can be much influenced by not only personal characteristics but also social and environmental factors such as family environment and educational environment. Therefore, this study investigated not only children learners in multicultural family but also children learners in ordinary family having different environmental factors by using various kinds of test tools, and it examined a variety of phenomenon of linguistic development process in three parts, that is to say, phoneme, syntax and vocabulary. Children learners in multicultural family were late to develop phoneme, syntax and vocabulary except for basic vocabulary than children learners in ordinary family were. Such a phenomenon was thought to occur because of family environment, educational environment and other social environment: The study suggested not only teaching methods reflecting social policy but also the Korean language teaching method for children learners in multicultural family in three parts, that is to say, phoneme, syntax and vocabulary.
This study interpreted language acquisition and development of children learners in multicultural family from point of view of the study of the Korean language to compare with that of children learners in ordinary family and to investigate the Korean language acquisition and development of children learners that was not researched enough so far.
This study examined language acquisition and development of children learners in multicultural family to teach the learners properly and to help the learners develop the Korean language. Hopefully, this study would be widely used to let children learners acquire and develop the Korean language.
