미혼어머니의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 부모만족도, 사회적 지지, 사회적 편견을 중심으로 = Study on Factors that Affect the Life Satisfaction of Unmarried Mothers : with a Focus on Parent Satisfaction, Social Support and Social Prejudice

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구이다. 미혼 어머니는 자신의 아이를 출산하여 양육하며 살아가는데 얼마나 만족하며 행복감을 느끼고 있는지에 대한 연구로, 미혼 어머니의 삶의 만족, 즉 행복감이 자연스럽게 아이에게 전수될 수 있고 아이의 양육 성장 과정에 충분히 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문이다.
이를 위해 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 살펴보고, 요인에 따라 미혼 어머니에 대한 사회복지적 접근을 어떻게 하는 것이 바람직하며 도움이 되는가에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다.
미혼 어머니의 생활만족도에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 독립변인인 사회적 편견, 사회적 지지, 부모만족도의 회귀분석 결과, 미혼 어머니의 생활만족을 설명하기 위한 독립변인들 모두 종속변인인 생활만족도에 유의한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 부모만족도의 영향력 수준이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이어서 사회적 편견, 사회적 지지 순으로 나타났다.
결과적으로 회귀분석을 통하여 종속변수인 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도 수준을 설명해 주는 유의한 변인들은 사회적 편견과 부모만족도로 나타났다. 이를 분석해 보면 미혼 어머니가 경험하는 사회적 편견 수준이 낮을수록 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도 수준은 향상되는 것을 알 수 있다.
둘째, 부모로서 만족하는 수준이 높을 때, 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도 수준은 높음을 알 수 있다. 부모만족도는 다른 변인들과 비교하여 종속변수에 상대적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 무엇보다도 자녀로부터 느끼는 자신의 부모됨의 만족수준이 생활에서의 만족수준을 설명하는 중요한 변인으로 작용 하였다고 볼 수 있다.
본 연구를 통해 이제 국가와 사회가 본 연구를 통해 미혼 어머니와 아이에 대한 이해와 관심을 가지고 접근하여야 할 것이다. 먼저 미혼 어머니의 생활만족도 향상을 위한 국가 사회적 개입이 적극적으로 이루어지며, 이를 위해서는 무엇보다 우리 사회가 미혼 어머니에 대한 깊은 이해와 관심이 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is about the factors that affect the life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers. It is a study of how satisfied and happy unmarried mothers are about giving birth to and raising their own child, since the life satisfaction, in other words happiness of unmarried mothers can be conveyed naturally to their child and fairly affect the upbringing and growth process.
For this study, factors that affect the life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers are examined, and the desirable and helpful ways of social-welfare approach to unmarried mothers according to the factors are examined.
As a result of studying regression analysis of social prejudice, social support, and parents satisfaction level, which are independent variables expected to affect life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers, all independent variables to explain life satisfaction of unmarried mothers had significant influence in life satisfaction level, which is a dependent variable. The influence of parents satisfaction level appeared the highest, followed by social prejudice and social support.
First, significant variables that explain the life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers, which is a dependent variable, appeared to be social prejudice and parents satisfaction level. It can be analyzed that the lower the social prejudice is experienced by unmarried mothers, the higher the life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers.
Second, when more satisfied as a parent, unmarried mothers' life satisfaction level appears high. Parents satisfaction level compared to other variables appeared relatively significant to dependent variable. More than anything, the satisfaction level of one as a parent felt from her child acts as an important variable to explain the satisfaction level in life.
Through this study, now the nation and the society must approach unmarried mothers and their children with understanding and concern. First, national and social intervention must be carried out positively for the improvement of life satisfaction level of unmarried mothers, and to do this our society is required to have deep understanding and concern about unmarried mothers.
