국문 초록 (Abstract)

젊은 안무가 지원 프로그램의 개선방안에 관한 연구


본 논문은 젊은 안무가 지원 프로그램의 개선방안에 대한 연구이다. 이에 본 연구자는 젊은 안무가 개념 및 젊은 안무가 지원의 필요성, 안무가의 역할을 살펴보고, 해당 프로그램에 대한 분석을 하고자 한다. 또한 심도 있는 연구를 위해 본 연구에서 언급한 젊은 안무가 지원 프로그램에 참여했던 젊은 안무가들을 대상으로 진행된 인터뷰 조사를 선택했다. 이를 통해 젊은 안무가를 위해 마련된 지원 프로그램의 문제점을 분석하고 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.
본 연구자가 연구를 통해 파악한 젊은 안무가 지원 프로그램의 문제점과 그에 대한 개선방안은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 지원조건 및 프로그램에 대한 방향성의 모호함으로 인해 지원자들에게 혼란을 야기시키고 있다. 따라서 ‘젊은 안무가 프로그램’의 지원자들의 혼란을 막고, 프로그램의 올바른 목적달성을 위해서라도 ‘젊은 안무가’에 대한 정확한 개념 정립과 프로그램의 지원 기준 및 방향성 제시에 대한 고려가 필요하다.
둘째, 일회성 지원을 중심으로 지원체계가 정립되어 있다. 이로 인해 문제점을 해결하기 위해 각 기관에서는 중·장기적인 지원 시스템 체계를 구축하고 젊은 안무가들에게 끊임없는 관심을 펼쳐야 할 것이다.
셋째, 창작·매개 요소 지원의 부족으로 단면적 지원 체계의 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 이에 젊은 안무가들을 위해 공간 및 무용수 등과 같은 창작·매개 요소에 대한 맞춤 컨설팅의 활성화가 시도 되어야 할 것이다.
넷째, 지원 프로그램의 영향력이 독립안무가 및 단체까지 미치지 못하고 있다. 그간 학교 중심적으로 이루어지던 심사방식에서 탈피해 공정한 심사제도와 독립안무가 및 단체를 찾아 발굴해 내는 시스템의 도입이 필요하다.
다섯째, 안무가 재교육 프로그램이 부족하다. 중·장기적인 안무교육 프로그램의 설계 및 보급을 통해 역량 있는 젊은 안무가 육성 및 발굴에 힘써야 한다. 또한 역량 강화 프로그램으로 장학금 제도 및 해외연수 지원 프로그램의 활성화를 통해 실력 있는 젊은 안무가 발굴에 힘써야 한다.
여섯째, 프로그램 진행상의 미흡함이 발견된다. 이와 같은 문제점의 해결을 위해 프로그램 구성 및 진행에 있어서 탄력성과 공정성을 중심으로 이뤄져야 한다. 또한 평가 시스템을 강화함으로 지원금이 목적에서 어긋나게 쓰이지 않는가에 대한 관심이 필요시 되고 있다.
이상에서 알 수 있듯이, 본 연구자는 연구를 통해 젊은 안무가 지원 프로그램의 문제점과 개선방안을 모색하였다. 이를 통해 젊은 안무가와 관련된 지원 프로그램의 문제점의 보완 및 개선으로 젊은 안무가들에게 활발한 예술 활동의 기회를 만들어 주는 시스템이 구축되기를 기대하며, 더불어 나아가 창조적 산업의 일환으로 발전할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

ABSTRACT

A Study on Improvement Plans of Support Program for
Young Choreographers

The thesis studies on how improvements can be made for young choreographers’ support program. It is my desire as a researcher to acknowledge a need for support program for young artists, to go over terms, concepts, and roles of a choreographer, and to analyze related programs.
Also, questionnaire and interviews from currently involved artists in these programs have been utilized to further the study. Through these studies for young choreographers, we desire to pinpoint problems and make suggestions. The improvement plans and solutions for these problems are as follows.
First, Ambiguities of directions about program qualifications have caused chaos for applicants. Therefore, in order to prevent chaos from applicants of these 'young artists programs,' there has to be a solid understanding of the concepts of these programs and clarifications of qualification standards.
Second, infrastructures of the sponsor programs center on only one-time opportunity. To solve problems, each sponsor needs to found a system that supports and provides more opportunities for young artist applicants.
Third, they have run programs that lack creativity and precise details. As a result, we need to provide enough rooms for dancers and young artists to cooperate and encourage creativity and productivity.
Fourth, influences of the sponsor programs do not reach independent choreographers and groups. There is a strong need for finding fair judge and auditions.
Fifth, reeducation programs for artists are rare. We need to practice long-run systems and supplies in order to discover talented artists and have them reared and cultivated. Also, active scholarships and abroad study programs for these talented artists are recommended.
Sixth, insufficiencies have been discovered in running procedures. In order to solve this problem, formations of these sponsor programs should center on flexibility and fairness. Also, strong feedback system is recommended to prevent misuse and faulty.
As you see, the researcher has come up with solutions to the problems caused by sponsor programs for young artists. Through this thesis, the researcher expects to have a chance of abundant activities and to consider potential links to the creative and self-improving industries.
