The problem behavior getting various as days go by Elementary school children, the intensity also getting serious. Class teachers of Elementary schools aren't distinguished to various problem behavior in a class the problem behavior of integrated obstacle students. But, they experience several kinds of trouble of guidances about individual students showing serious emotion and behavior problem. Teachers experience large trouble about class management if they can't efficiently control the problem behavior. Also, they feel threat of identity as a teacher. But a lot of teachers short the understanding about an arbitration way to manage efficiently the problem behavior and assistance of guidance of the problem behavior and related teacher training and providing of education aren't provided well. Especially, It's getting worse the present situation of avoidance six-grade of charge because they have troubles of serious problem behavior and life guidance about six-grade students of Elementary schools. So, it's necessary the study about efficient management method of the problem behavior. By this time, the study of the positive behavior support consists mostly individual studies to individual obstacle students. But, universal level is efficient a decrease of the problem behavior for the whole students. It's also easy to accept for student. The purpose of this study put in operation for searching the change of satisfaction in school life and the problem behavior of school hours and break hours after put in operation the universal positive behavior support through the function examination for six-grade classes of a Elementary school.
Participants of this study are sixty students and two teachers in charge and two teachers in subject complete charge included two classes of six grade of Elementary school and it's located in seoul. The positive behavior support made plans based on the results of preceding study include variety arbitration after selected the serious problem behavior judged from teachers in charge and teachers in subject complete charge through the function examination. It was put in operation the universal positive behavior support after converse enough about class issue with members of a class and image that must be changed in the future. It searched the change of the problem behavior through measure from way of case records the frequency of the problem behavior of the positive behavior support operation before and after. And they collected materials for school life satisfaction, questions from thirty students included experiment group and control group. The collected question materials used the program of the SPSS for window 12.0 put in operation the t - verification of independence sample and it searched the difference of before and after of experiment group and control group.
They summarized the analysis results of this study as follows. At first, the problem behavior in school hour are seat breakaway, cause noise, take evasion, inappropriate action. And it was shown that decrease about 78.1% from comparative result with the sum of total frequency of the before and after each five date of return. It's decreased largely among others make a noise. I was shown decrease of 75.8% as a consequence the sum of total frequency of the before and after each five date of return caused make a noise in break hours, inappropriate action.
The second, it was more improved an average 18.6 point an experiment group more than a control group for a gap of the before inspection and after inspection. And it has a meaningful different thing for put in operation the t - verification of independence sample t = 2.861 after put in operation the positive behavior support for recognize the change of total school life satisfaction of students. So, it was shown that operating the positive behavior support have positive effects the school life satisfaction of students. When looks around the before and after change between low rank group of the school life satisfaction. It was meaningful different thing with the domain of school life, general class, relation with teachers and it wasn't meaningful different thing with the domain of personal relations between children, mechanical environment of school, school event and special activity.
When synthesized these results, the universal positive behavior support reduced the class problem behavior of Elementary school six-grade classes and it influenced positively the domain of school life, general class, relation with teachers related satisfaction of school life. It was shown that influenced to satisfaction of deeply related school life with quality of students life and decrease of the problem behavior from the universal positive behavior support. Namely, the positive behavior support is a help to arbitrate the problem behavior that related with teachers and caused in class hours. And it was shown the application possibility of the positive behavior support as a way of the problem behavior guidance in Elementary school.
