2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용 「유치원 지도서」의 유아 음악 활동 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 구성에 대해 알아보고, 유아 음악 활동이 연령별로 어떻게 구성되어 있는가를 분석해 보는 것이다. 덧붙여 현장의 교사들이 발달과 연령에 적합한 바람직한 음악교육을 실시하는데 있어서 도움이 되는 지침을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
이와 같은 연구 목적에 따라 설정된 연구 문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 구성은 어떠한가?
2. 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 연령별 구성은 어떠한가?
본 연구는 문헌 연구를 통해 이루어졌으며, 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동 총 140개를 대상으로 실시하였다. 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」는 총 13권이나 총론과 종일반을 제외한 총 11권을 선정하였으며 첫 번째 연구 문제인 유아 음악 활동의 구성을 알아보기 위해 각 권마다 수록된 유아 음악 활동을 생활주제별과, 유아 음악 활동의 유형별로 분석하였으며, 두 번째 연구 문제인「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 연령별 구성은 어떠한가? 를 알아보기 위해서 각각의 활동들을 연령별로 나누어 분석하였다.
본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 교사용「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동은 생활주제별, 활동 유형별로는 고르지 못한 경향을 보였다. 각 생활주제마다 유아 음악 활동의 수에서 차이를 보였는데 가장 많은 유아 음악 활동이 수록되어 있는 생활주제는 18개 활동이 수록된 ‘동식물과 자연’이며, 가장 적게 수록되어 있는 생활주제는 8개 활동이 수록된 ‘유치원과 친구’ 이었다. 또한 「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 각각의 유아 음악 활동들을 유아 음악 활동의 유형으로 나누어 분석해 보았을 때, '노래 부르기' 활동이 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
둘째, 「유치원 지도서」에 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 연령별 구성은 전체적으로 분석한 유아 음악 활동의 구성과 거의 비슷한 결과를 나타내고 있었으며, 생활주제별로 수록된 유아 음악 활동의 수에서도 연령별로 차이가 나타남을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 연령별로 수록된 유아 음악 활동들을 유아 음악 활동의 유형으로 분류해 보았을 때도, 세 연령 모두 ‘노래 부르기’ 활동 유형이 가장 높은 빈도를 나타내고 있었으며 다른 유형(소리 탐색하기, 듣고 움직이기, 악기 연주하기, 감상하기)의 유아 음악 활동들은 상대적으로 빈도가 낮게 나타났다.
유아 음악 활동 유형을 다시 하위 범주로 나누어 분석해 본 결과로는 연령간의 유아 음악 발달의 차이를 고려한 부분을 찾아 볼 수 있었으나, 몇몇의 경우에는 유아의 음악적 발달이나 수준별 적합성이 고려되지 못한 활동들도 수록되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.
2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정에 따른 교사용「유치원 지도서」는 국가 수준의 교육 과정을 대표하는 지침서로 교사들의 활용도가 높은 지도 자료이므로 유아 음악 활동들을 좀 더 다양하고 폭 넓게 구성하여 각 생활 주제별․연령별로 적절히 제시해야 할 필요성이 제기되었다.

This study was performed to examine the composition of children's music activity in teacher's「Kindergarten guide」according to 2007's revision of the national kindergarten curriculum and analyzed it by age, for the purpose of providing a helpful guide for teachers to offer music education appropriate to the age and development.
With this purpose, the research questions are as follows.
1. How is the children's music activity in teacher's「Kindergarten guide」 according to 2007's revision of the national kindergarten curriculum composed of?

by age?
This study was performed through literature search with objects of total 140 the children's music activities in teacher's 「Kindergarten guide」according to 2007's revision of the national kindergarten curriculum. As total 11 books, except the general and the full-time class, were selected among total 13-volumed teacher's 「Kindergarten guide」 according to 2007's revision of the national kindergarten curriculum, the children's music activities in each book were analyzed by activity type and life-theme for the first research question, the composition of children's music activity, and each activity was analyzed by age for the second research question, the age composition of the children's music activity in「Kindergarten guide」.
The results of this study are summarized as follows.
First, the children's music activity in 「Kindergarten guide」has inequality in tendency of both life-theme and activity. The number of children's music activity has big difference in each life-theme. And when each of the children's music activities was analyzed by activity type, the number of 'singing' activity was highest.
Second, it's found that the age composition of children's music activity in「Kindergarten guide」was similar to the overall composition of it. The number of children's music activity in life-theme also has difference corresponding to the age. And when activities were classified into its type, the number of 'singing' was highest in 3 kinds of the age, compared to the other types (catching sound, listen and move, playing musical instrument, appreciating) which are relatively low.
As a result of analyzing sub-categories of the children's music activity type, it's found that the age difference of children's music development was considered, except some activities not to take their musical development or standard suitability into account.
As teacher's「Kindergarten guide」in 2007's revision of the national kindergarten curriculum represents a curriculum on national level which teachers have often used, it's suggested to properly provide more various and wide children's music activities corresponding to life-theme and age.
