兒童의 氣質과 父母의 養育態度가 兒童虐待에 미치는 影響 : 대구지역을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 아동의 기질과 부모의 양육태도가 아동 학대에 영향을 미칠 것인가를 살펴보고자 하는 것이며 구체적 연구문제는
1. 아동의 기질이 아동학대에 영향을 미칠 것인가 ?
2. 부모의 양육태도가 아동학대에 영향을 미칠 것인가 ?
3. 아동학대에 대한 아동의 기질과 부모의 양육태도의 상대적 설명력은 어떠한가? 이다.
연구의 대상은 대구시에 위치한 어린이집에 재원하고 있는 5, 6, 7세 유아의 부 240명 모 240명 총 480명이었으며 아동의 어머니에게는 아동의 기질과 아동학대에 관한 설문지, 그리고 양육태도 설문지에 답하게 하였으며 아동의 아버지에게는 양육태도 설문지와 아동학대 설문지를 작성하게 하였다.
수집된 자료는 중다회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석되었으며 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 아동의 활동성이 높을수록 어머니의 자녀에 대한 정서적 학대 정도가 높으며 아동의 기질이 규칙적이지 않을수록 적응성이 떨어질수록 어머니는 자녀의 방임 정도가 높아진다. 아동의 기질이 아버지의 아동학대에 미치는 영향은 아동의 기질이 활동성적일수록 아버지의 신체적 학대가 더 많아지는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 어머니의 양육태도가 애정적일수록 정서적 학대가 적으며 거부적인 양육태도 일수록 정서적 학대가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 신체적 학대인 경우 거부적인 태도를 지닐수록 자녀에 대한 신체적 학대가 많았고 방임인 경우도 거부적인 태도로 양육 할수록 방임의 정도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 아버지의 양육태도가 거부적인 양육태도를 가질수록 신체적 학대, 정서적 학대, 방임의 정도가 큰 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 부모의 양육태도와 아동의 기질이 아동 학대에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 어떠한 지 살펴본 결과, 어머니의 아동학대의 경우, 어머니의 애정적-거부적 양육태도가 가장 많은 영향을 미치며 자율적-통제적 양육태도 그리고 아동의 기질 중 활동성의 순으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of children's temperament and their parents's parenting attitudes on child abuse by parents.
The subjects of this study were 480 5-7year old children's parents in Teaegu.
The Questionnaires for cognitions of child abuse(Go, 1992; Jung, 2002; Kim, 1997) were revised and used to measure parents's child abuse of their children. For children's temperament, Temperament Qyestionnaire for study(Chun, 1992) was used. And for parents's parenting attitudes, MBRI(Maternal Behavior Research Instrument) was revised by Oh(1994) was used. The data were analyzed with multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis by using SPSS 12.0.
The major results of this study were as follows;
First, results showed that children's activity influenced mother's emotional child abuse. Children's physiological regularity and adaptivity influenced mother's neglect and children's activity influenced father's physical child abuse.
Second, parents's parenting attitude influenced parents's emotional child abuse, physical child abuse and neglect.
Third, the results of relative influence of parent's parenting attitude and children's temperament about parents's child abuse, mother's child abuse was affected by affectionate-refusal parenting attitude, autonomy-controlling parenting attitude, children's active temperament.
