요양보호사 직무만족도에 관한 연구 = A study for the job satisfaction of nursing care giver

This study is purposed to lay a cornerstone for the treatment improvement of nursing care giver, labor conditions, settlement and activity by measuring the job satisfaction index which the current nursing care giver felt.
This study's survey was randomly conducted by the questionnaires of job satisfaction for the subject of current nursing care givers who had achieved the national certificate by completing the required educational program and were working at nursing home, dementia care center, silver center and welfare care center and was set the problem and analyzed the subject matter in relation to the difference of job satisfaction by their individual character and workplace and type of work.
A discretion sample extraction was used as a way of sample extraction, but there was a difficult part for selection of survey subjects because the nursing care giver were not positioned nationally and the role of nursing care giver and long-term nursing insurance of old ages have been recently carried out.
After the result of analysis, the level of satisfaction of nursing care giver appeared to be lower but the ability of being capable of allotted work and the relationship with peer or higher-up showed higher than average level.
In addition, married nursing care givers were higher than single care giver for the job satisfaction, and their higher educational level showed to be able to acquire the bigger satisfaction.
In relation to nursing care giver s qualification and their working situation, the ratio of the people who have only got the license of nursing care giver than the people are working as nursing care giver with another welfare certificate showed higher more twice, which I think seems to be the result of group difference between the nursing care giver who have got the junior college degree and the high school one.
In relation to the final education course, the ratio of the number of nursing care giver who have only got a high school degree and are now working at dementia care center or silver center showed much more and on the contrary, the study showed the ratio of the number of nursing care giver who have got a college degree and are now working welfare center or nursing home is relatively higher.
In studying at type of work, the nursing care giver working at nursing facilities are highest, followed by welfare center, home facility, and nursing hospital.
In studying at type of work, the nursing care giver working in full-time or regular employment are highest, followed by part-time by contract or hourly employment, therefore we could see the unstable employment condition.
In studying at satisfaction of type of work, regular employment s satisfaction is highest, followed by full-time and part-time by contract, which showed that the stable work condition might be able to create the work satisfaction.
As the old ages in nation are increasing, it is time to need the cooperation of professional nursing care giver to settle down the insurance of long-term nursing care being conducted under the people s deepest interest and expectation without failure, and in addition, it is time to exactly regulate the treatment improvement of nursing care giver and improvement of labor condition legally.
