The Purpose of this research, Youth of the relationship between mental health and to adapt to school life is. The subjects of elementary school students (296 people), junior high school students (263 people), high school students (308 people) has a total 867.
Mental health research tool, use the K-YSR and adapt the school minbyeongsu (1991) as a measure of statistical analysis program was using the SPSS Win 10.0.
The results of the study are as follows.
1. Mental Health, the average ratio of 39.02 ± 22.11 and 80.36 ± 13.77, the average ratio of school life is adapted. Mental health and adaptation of school life was good.
2. Generally attribute the level of mental health due to more high school students, and other family type, low economic level, not a religion of his father, using the computer more than 3 hours, without exercise, he has no friends, low student scores highly aware of the mental health was to show a difference.
Adapting to school life in general characteristics of the female gender, school, elementary school students, common family type, high economic level, 1 hour for computer use, exercise, and one or more friends, and his high school students adapt This difference was significant higher.
3. Mental health and school adjustment was the talisman correlation (r =-. 28). Attention problems and learning activities was the highest award represents the relationship (r =-. 34). According to these results, this study presents suggestions as follows;
High school students to pay more for mental health care, and to promote physical activity and exercise time should increase. In addition, to adapt to school life in order to improve relationships with teachers and friends to promote relations in the school environment and research on the development of a program is needed. Students who live at the S city, so the overall youth limitations have to be to make a generalization. Later, the target of the nation's youth to study the offer.
