창업보육센터의 특성이 기업경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = (A) study on the effects of operating characteristics of business incubator on the firm's performance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of business incubator's (BI) operating system on firm's corporate performance. To achieve the purpose of the study field survey and questionnaire methods were used and statistical analysis was done on the collected data.
Research institution was limited to those established and run by university and research institutes. A total of 2,500 questionnaires were distributed and 247 of them (9.8%) were collected. As for analysis, 239 out of the whole collected questionnaire, excepting those with incomplete responses, were applied to statistical analysis. SPSS version 15 was used for basic descriptive statistics while AMOS 7.0 was used for testing of hypotheses.
Results of the hypothesis testing are summarized as follows:
First, it was found that BI's operating goals and policies had statistically significant influence on the knowledge capabilities of BI managers. Second, BI's operating goals and policies did not have statistically significant influence on the level of firm's performance. Third, it was shown that BI's operating goals and policies had significant influence on the level of supporting system. Fourth, manager's knowledge capabilities had an impact on the level of BI's supporting system. Fifth, it was found that manager's knowledge capabilities did not have significantly positive impact on the firm's management achievement. Sixth, it was shown that firm's management performance may depend on the level of supporting system.
In conclusion, BI's management performance has much influence on the manager's knowledge capabilities. Therefore, it is suggested that BI policies should be established in a way its goals and management policies have transparency and clarity. This implies that BI policies must focus on manager's knowledge capabilities and quality of support system in order to improve the quality of firm's corporate management.
