The purpose of this study was to illustrate the effects of the correlations between receptive attitudes toward students with disabilities and social abilities through understanding education program with students with disabilities. The 381 2nd-, 4th-, and 6th-grade students were participate for this study. Pre- and post-test utilized to analyze the correlations between receptive attitudes toward students with disabilities and social abilities through understanding education program with students with disabilities. Two group, 190 experimental students and 191 control students group were divided for this study. The understanding education program of students with disabilities was constructed with 10 sessions such as recognition toward handicapped, DVD materials for handicapped, imitation program for handicapped, and essay for handicapped. The results of this study were that: (a) the program was effective to increase the receptive attitudes toward the students with disabilities, (b) the program was effective to develop the social abilities; and (c) the correlations between the receptive attitudes toward students with disabilities and social abilities were illustrated by positive correlation. Therefore the understanding education program of students with disabilities was effective to increase the receptive attitudes toward students with disabilities and the social abilities.
