골프장개발과 지역사회와의 관계모형연구 : 지역주민의 의식 및 태도, 지지여부를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 골프장 개발에 따른 지역주민들의 의식과 태도에 따른 지지여부를 조사ㆍ분석하여 21세기 복합적인 관광산업의 하나인 골프장 개발과 지역사회와의 관계를 제시하고, 향후 골프장개발 과정에서 지역주민의 의사를 반영하여 상호 WIN-WIN 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.
이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 최근에 골프장이 새롭게 건설되었고, 계속적으로 골프장 건설 계획이 추진 중인 인천광역시 영종동 지역에 거주 하고 있는 시민들을 대상으로 단순무선표집법(Simple Random Sampling)을 이용하여 표본을 추출하여 총500명에게 설문을 실시하였다. 그 중에서 응답이 불성실 하거나 신뢰도가 떨어지는 54부(10.8%)를 제외한 446부(89.2%)의 자료가 최종 분석에 이용되었다.
조사도구는 설문지를 이용하였으며, 설문지의 구성은 지역의 경제적 상태 인식, 환경의 대한 가치, 골프장 개발인지, 골프에 대한인식, 지각된 혜택과 비용, 골프장 개발 지지여부로 고동완(1997), 박석희(2000), 이임규(2001), 김남조,조광익(2002), 윤희정(2004), 양봉식(2004), 최규성(2004), 서용건, 허향진, 고광희, 김용이(2005), 이환봉(2007), Liu(1986), Gursoy 등(2002), Sirakaya(2002) 의 연구에서 사용한 설문지를 수정ㆍ보완하여 사용하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's α. .823 ～ .957 로 나타났으며, 타당도는 요인분석을 통해 검증하였다. 자료처리를 위한 통계분석은 Windows 용 SPSS 14.0 Version을 이용하여, 탐색적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 빈도분석, 독립 t-검증, 일원변량분석을 실시하였고, AMOS 7.0을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석, 공변량구조분석을 목적에 맞게 실시하였다.
이와 같은 방법과 절차에 따른 자료분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 지역주민의 의식, 지각된 혜택, 지각된 비용, 골프장 개발 지지여부와의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 지역주민의 의식에서 경제적 상태인식, 환경에 대한 가치와 골프에 대한 인식이 연령, 거주기간, 직업에 따라 부분적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 혜택에서 경제적 혜택과 환경적 혜택은 성별, 거주기간, 직업, 골프운동 참여에서 부분적으로 차이가 나타났으며, 지각된 비용에서 경제적 비용과 환경적 비용은 거주기간, 직업, 골프 운동 참여에 따라 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 골프장 개발지지 여부에서는 골프 운동참여와 직업에서 차이가 나타났다.
둘째, 지역의 경제적 상태인식, 환경에 대한가치, 골프장개발에 대한인지, 골프에 대한 인식과 지각된 혜택, 비용 및 골프장 개발 지지여부와의 관계를 통한 연구모형을 기초로 인과관계를 분석한 결과, 지역의 경제적 상태 인식은 골프장 개발 지지여부에, 환경에 대한 가치는 지각된 혜택과 지각된 비용에, 골프장 개발인지는 지각된 혜택에, 골프에 대한 인식은 지각된 혜택과 지각된 비용, 골프장 개발 지지여부에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 혜택과 지각된 비용은 골프장 개발지지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the relation model between golf course development and community based on the local resident's consciousness, attitude, and approval confirmation in order to propose the way how to make WIN-WIN when golf course is developing in the near future.
To achieve this purpose subjects were selected from residents who are living at Youngjong-dong, Incheon where golf course was constructed and they have a plan to develop golf course continuously by using simple random sampling method.
A total of 500 samples were distributed and 446(89.2%) usable data were finally used in this study after eliminating 54(10.8%) incomplete samples.
The instrument was questionnaire and it was modified and complemented based on the previous study of Ko(1997), Park(2000), Lee(2001), Kim, Cho(2002), Yoon(2004), Yang(2004), Choi(2004), Seo, Huh, Ko, Kim(2005), Lee(2007), Liu(1986), Gursoy et al(2002), and Sirakaya(2002). To test validity and reliability of the questionnaires, factor analysis and Cronbach's α were conducted. The alpha coefficients were ranged from .957 to .823.
The data was analyzed by using SPSS version 14.0 for exploratory factor analysis(EFA), correlation analysis, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA were used and AMOS 7.0 for confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) and structural equation model(SEM).
The results of this study were as follows:
First, after analyzing the difference among local resident's consciousness, perceived benefit, cost and golf course development confirmation, economy recognition, environment value and golf recognition at local resident's consciousness factor had partially difference according to age, residence period, and occupation. In addition economy and environment benefit at perceived benefit factor had partially difference according to residence period, occupation, and golf participation. Meanwhile golf course development confirmation had difference according to golf participation and occupation.
Second, after analyzing relation model among community economy recognition, environment value, golf course development awareness, golf recognition, perceived benefit and cost, and golf course development confirmation, community economy recognition had effect on golf course development confirmation; environment value had effect on perceived benefit and cost; golf course development awareness had effect on perceived benefit; golf recognition had effect on perceived benefit, cost, and golf course development confirmation; perceived benefit and cost had effect on golf course development confirmation.
