사이버 비행에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 비행청소년을 중심으로

This study inquired into the concrete levels of cyber crimes with juvenile delinquents who were under the probation as fundamentalresearch to find precautionary measures and decrease plans of the cyber crimes. And this study searched into the factors influencing the cyber crimes. The 338 juvenile delinquents who participated in the survey were under the probation on the charge of larceny, violence, unlicensed driving, sexual violence, violation of traffic regulations, robbery injuring, blackmailing, robbery, rape, and so forth in Gangneung, Daegu, the southern Seoul, Suwon, Wonju, Cheonan, Cheongju. This study researched whether various variables – the gender, an economic standard, an educational background, the amount of time used by a computer, the adaptation to a school life, criminal records of parents, larceny and the rest delinquencies – could forecast the cyber crimes. In result, the primary predictive variables of cyber crimes were ‘the adaptation to a school life’ and ‘rate of connecting with impulsiveㆍviolentㆍlascivious web sites’. That is, the more juvenile were not adapted to a school life and connected with impulsiveㆍviolentㆍlascivious web sites, the more they intervened in the cyber crimes. These concurred with priority studies on that point was the rate of connecting with impulsive data could explain the cyber crimes considerablywell. Exactly, the more juvenile delinquents experience impulsive, violent, and lascivious informationin the cyber world, the more they committed cyber irregularities. As a result, these support that the control of connection at unsound web sites with students is valid. Therefore, the existing watch and interception systems of harmful web sites can be using for decrease of the cyber crimes effectively. Also, the guidance and support with students for adaptation of a school life will be helping the prevention and the decrease of the cyber crimes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 사이버 범죄의 예방과 감소 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초적 연구로서 비행을 저지른 경험이 있는 보호관찰소에 있는 비행청소년들을 대상으로 구체적 사이버 비행의 수준을 살펴보았다. 그리고 사이버 비행에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 알아보고자 하였다. 설문에 참여한 비행청소년들은 강릉, 대구, 서울남부, 수원, 원주, 천안, 청주 보호관찰소에서 보호관찰중인 384명의 비행청소년들로 절도, 폭력, 무면허운전, 성폭력, 도로교통법, 강도상해, 공갈, 강도, 강간 등의 비행경험이 있는 청소년들이다. 본 연구에서는 비행청소년들을 성별, 경제적 수준, 학력, 컴퓨터 사용시간, 학교생활 적응, 부모의 전과, 절도와 절도 외 비행으로 구분하여 이에 대한 사이버 비행의 예측 변인을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 주요 예측 변인들은 ‘학교생활의 적응여부’와 ‘충동적ㆍ폭력적ㆍ선정적 사이트의 접근 정도’였다. 즉, 학교생활에 적응하지 못할수록 사이버 비행에 개입하는 정도가 높았으며, 충동적ㆍ폭력적ㆍ선정적 사이트에 접촉하는 정도가 많을수록 사이버 비행에 개입을 더 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과는 충동적인 데이터 접속 정도가 사이버 비행에 상당히 높은 설명력을 가지고 있다는 기존의 연구결과와 맥을 같이하는 것이다. 즉, 사이버 세상에서 충동적이고 폭력적이며 선정적인 정보들을 접할수록 사이버 비행에 빠질 위험이 높다는 것을 보여준다. 이와 같은 결과들은 학생들이 불건전한 인터넷 사이트에 접속하는 것을 규제해야 하는가에 대한 타당한 이유가 될 수 있다. 따라서 현재 운영 중인 인터넷 사이트 감시 및 유해사이트의 차단 제도는 사이버 비행을 줄이는 중요한 요소로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 학생들이 학교생활에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 지도하고 지지해 주는 것도 사이버 비행의 예방 및 감소를 위한 방안이 될 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
