창업보육기업의 기업가 특성이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향 = (The)effect of entrepreneurs' characteristics on business performance in business incubator companies

This research examined entrepreneurs' in business incubators to survey the effect of entrepreneurs' psychological characteristics (achievement, propensity to take risk) and secondly, entrepreneurs' competence characteristics (vision, opportunity perception, social adaptability, network frequency and trust) on company performance and finally adjustment effects of business incubation services on entrepreneurs' characteristics (psychological characteristics, competence characteristics) and company performance. The summaries of the results are as follows.
First, as for the entrepreneurs' psychological characteristics, it is revealed that achievement of entrepreneurs did favorable influence but propensity to take risk did not effect to company performance.
Second, only some parts of the hypothesis that the entrepreneurs' competence characteristics influence company performance were adopted. It was also shown that entrepreneurs' vision and social plasticity and network trust don't influence company performance but the opportunity perception recognition and network frequency affect them.
Third, it was found that regarding the business incubation services, the adjustment effects between entrepreneurs' characteristics (psychological characteristics and competence characteristics) and company performance influence only some characteristics. And the achievement desire out of entrepreneurs' psychological characteristics has negative influences on the adjustment effects of business incubation services. On the other hand, the business incubation services in relation to vision and network, trust and company performance out of entrepreneurs' competence characteristics give significant effects.
Currently, support services of the various field provided by the business incubators are the most core factors for corporate operation but the fact that entrepreneurs' characteristics have big effects on companies performance are not considered at all. It was realized by this research that entrepreneurs' characteristics actually have effects on company performance and the business incubation services can have positive influences on the formation of reliable network and establishment of realistic and systematic vision to positively influence companies performance. In addition, it was revealed that the utilization of business incubation services was different according to entrepreneurs' characteristics.
Accordingly, it was suggested that various support services of business incubators should be planned and provided by considering entrepreneurs' characteristics and because company performance have different points of time by industry and field, business incubators, business incubators should establish a business incubation system differentiated by types of business to provided customized services.
