      The purpose of this study is to analyze parents' recognition about general management, operation effect, and operation system, and also present a direction for a better management of after school program.
      To achieve the purpose, the research questions are as follows : The study is as follows.
      First, parents' recognition about general management of after school program
      Second, parents' recognition about operation effect of after school program
      Third, parents' recognition about operation system.

      The major fidings were
      Firstly, the higher is the level of parents' education, the recognition on general operation of after school is higher. Most of them were aware of term of after school but, the higher of their education background, they were positive and indicated high comprehension about after school.
      Secondly, after school is a successful policy from a viewpoint of actualization of education welfare and the quality of education for after school. .It means that we are able to evaluate it as a successful measure in a situation of small-sized school and poor home life setting.
      Thirdly, parents have a positive recognition on after school. They think after school is a successful policy to reducing private education fees and they tend to not only ask after school for care of their children and the function of program expertise at the same time but also consider it as a strength.
