초등학생의 인터넷 중독 및 대인관계성향이 우울에 미치는 영향 = The Influence between Internet Addiction, Interpersonal Relations Disposition and Depression in Elementary School Students.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 초등학생 전 학년을 중심으로 인터넷 중독과 대인관계성향이 우울에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써, 사회적 행동이 현저하게 증가하고, 또래끼리 어울리는 시기인 초등학생들의 인터넷 중독과 우울에 대한 해결 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구 대상은 서울과 경기 지역에 있는 1~6학년 초등학생 1097명을 대상으로 인터넷 중독 자가진단, 우울, 대인관계성향에 대한 검사를 실시하였다.
연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 초등학생의 인터넷 중독 성향이 우울에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석, t-검증, 중다회귀분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 인터넷 중독과 우울은 유의미한 상관을 보였고, 인터넷 중독 초등학생의 우울에 대한 성차는 유의미하지 않았다. 또한 인터넷 중독군의 초등학생의 우울이 비중독군 초등학생의 우울보다 높게 나타났다. 인터넷 중독의 하위요인 중 현실구분 장애, 가상적 대인관계 지향성, 일상생활 장애가 우울에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 초등학생의 대인관계 성향이 우울에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 대인관계성향과 우울은 유의미한 상관을 보였으며, 대인관계성향의 하위요인 중 사교-우호적 성향, 반항-불신적 성향, 경쟁-공격적 성향, 과시-자기도취적 성향, 독립-책임감적 성향이 우울에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 인터넷 중독 초등학생들의 대인관계 성향에 따른 우울정도를 알아보기 위하여 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 대인관계 성향 중 사교-우호적 성향, 반항-불신적 성향, 과시-자기도취적 성향, 경쟁-공격적 성향의 4개 하위요인에서 우울에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다.
연구 결과 초등학생의 인터넷 중독과 대인관계성향은 우울에 영향을 미치는것으로 나타났다. 국내에서 인터넷 중독과 관련된 연구가 많지만, 청소년이나 성인을 대상으로 한 연구가 대부분이며, 초등학생을 대상으로 한 연구가 소수 있더라도 그 대상은 5,6학년에 한정되어 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대상을 확장하여 초등학생 전 학년을 대상으로 인터넷 중독군의 초등학생들의 대인관계 성향에 따른 우울 정도를 살펴보았다. 이와 같은 결과는 인터넷 중독 초등학생의 긍정적 대인관계와 심리적 적응을 위한 연령과 성별을 고려한 치료적 접근이 필요함에 대해 논의 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to provide resources for right understanding of psychological effect on internet addiction, interpersonal relations disposition and depression of elementary school students. For this study, a survey of internet addiction, interpersonal relations disposition and children's depression, which was done from 1,097 elementary school students in Seoul and Kunggido.
The brief summary of the survey is as follows.
First, the study carries out correlation analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis how internet addiction inclination effects depression. In result, internet addiction is significantly related to depression, depression of students in internet addiction group is higher than that of students in non-internet addiction group. Depression is meaningfully influenced by disturbance of adaptive function, withdrawal, virtual interpersonal relationship and deviate behavior of a subordinate position of internet addiction.
Second, the study carries out correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis how interpersonal relations disposition effects depression. In result, interpersonal relation disposition and depression has significant correlation, depression is meaningfully influenced by independent-responsible, sociable-friendliness, competitive-aggressive, exhibition-narcissistic, rebellions-distrustful disposition of a subordinate position of interpersonal relation disposition.
Third, the study carries out multiple regression analysis to make out degree of depression according to interpersonal relation disposition of students on internet addiction. In result, depression is meaningfully influenced by sociable-friendliness, rebellions-distrustful, exhibition-narcissistic, competitive-aggressive disposition of a subordinate position of interpersonal relation disposition.
Although there are many studies about internet addiction in domestic, the targets of most studies are teenagers or adults. If studies for elementary school students are exist, the target of studies is limited to fifth and sixth grade. Thus, this study inquires into gender difference of degree of depression in internet addiction, degree of depression according to interpersonal relation disposition of internet addiction.
In this study, internet addiction of elementary school students and interpersonal relation disposition effects depression. This study suggest that the curative approach considering grade and gender of elementary school students for positive interpersonal relation and psychological adaptation of internet addiction is in need.
