This study also tries to analyze and prove the usefulness and propriety through the realistic experiments using the general traveling packages' theoretical contents applied to the current hinterland trekking field. The results are as follow.
First, participation rate was high in the males, above the 40-years-old people, above the 4-million Won monthly income group, the office workers and self-management people in jobs, and above the university graduated people group.
Second, three times within three years, alone or with a club, within 10 days, with 4-years experience, Himalayan region and above 2-million Won for the expense were characteristics.
Third, male group, from 20 to 30 years old group, and below the 2-million Won income group showed the higher contentment rate.

This study found that "a health oriented-type" and "a mental stability oriented-type" showed the higher satisfaction rate. These groups will be the best target for the marketing strategy.
Next, the research direction for the succeeding study after this paper is as follow.
First, because of the limitation of the time and place, the survey was practiced within the short period of time and narrowed in Seoul and the capital area. The better results will be leaded if the period is prolonged and the objects selection is broadened to the whole country and the foreign nations.
Second, This study was limited in finding the motivation factors and general satisfaction rate under the situation where there's almost none a study of this field in Korea. Further study suggests the specific factor analysis for the intense satisfaction rate and royalty analysis in the succeeding research.
Third, this study was limited within the treks with the trekking agencies because they accounts for 90% of all hinterland trekking. Later it will come up with several other types such as self-arranged treks, back-packing treks, and teahouse treks.
This study will become a basic material for the trekking agencies and trekkers because this contains the results such as the participation motivation and population strategic trait, and the analysis of trekkers' trait and satisfaction rate. This study will be the cornerstone for the further study.
