여자배구선수 은퇴 후 진로에 대한 문제점과 개선방안

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 여자배구선수 은퇴 후 진로에 대한 문제점과 개선방안에 대한 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전직 실업, 프로 배구선수 경험이 있는 여자 선수들을 대상으로 유목적 표집(purposeful sampling) 방법을 사용하여 8명을 선정하였고, 심층면담, 비참여관찰, 문서자료 등을 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 그리고 내용분석(content analysis)을 적용한 질적 연구를 실시하였으며 자료의 수집과 분석과정에서 연구의 신뢰도와 타당도에 대한 지속적인 검증을 받았다. 본 연구의 결과를 연구문제별로 요약, 정리하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 배구선수들의 은퇴 이전 준비단계에서는 학창시절 운동에만 열중하고 상급학교 진학에 몰두하였고, 프로팀 진출 이후 미래에 대한 고민이 시작된 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 은퇴 후에 대한 정보 및 안내자가 부족하였고, 미래에 대한 막연한 불안감이 있던 것을 알 수 있으나 선수시절 소득에 대한 만족감이 미래 준비를 소홀히 하는 원인이 되기도 하였고, 운동 선수의 인내력 등이 미래에 희망적인 꿈을 가질 수 있도록 하였다.
둘째, 배구선수들의 사회적 역할단계에서는 타의적 은퇴의 경우는 부정적 느낌이 강하게 남아 있었고 이는 제 2삶의 진입단계에 중요한 방해 요인이 되고 있었다. 은퇴 이후 여자배구선수들은 다양한 직업에 종사하고 있었고, 부족하지만 미래에 대한 자신감과 희망을 가지고 지금 현재를 살고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 배구 영역으로 다시 한번 진출하여 배구 발전에 도움이 되고자 하는 경우가 많이 있었다.
셋째, 배구선수들의 은퇴 준비를 위한 개선방향을 위한 연구참여자들은 운동과 학업을 병행할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하며, 우수선수들의 지도자 진출 및 생활체육 지도자 진출이 필요하다고 하였으며, 선진국형 클럽 시스템 구축과 구단, 협회, 학교등의 선수들을 위한 제도적 변화가 필요하다고 하였다. 그리고 은퇴 후를 대비한 복지제도의 구비와 멘토 역할을 할 수 있는 지도자와 선배의 필요성이 대두되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study aims at searching for a way how to grasp problems and improve women volleyball player's life after retirement .
On the process of study , data were accumulated by conscious interviews ,non-participation observation, documents by means of propose sampling 8 retired basket ball players who were playing in the company's team and professional players and continuous verification of confidence and adequacy were checked on the way of accumulation of data and analysis . The summery is as follows
Firstly, it is regarded that women players were engaged in only exercise as a preparatory stage to enter higher grade school . They enter to professional team . Their agony after retirement begins after advancing to professional team.
As well, they were not guided by information or guidebook which is useful to them after retirement . So they felt vague uncertainty to the future. their big incomes also offered a factor to loosen their future after retirement and their endurance leaded them to keep hopeful and optimistic dream to the future.
Secondly, on the case of deter retirement, they were apt to keep negative thinking , so this point operated as an important obstructive factor after retirement , so to speak second life.
There were engaging in various occupation after retirement . And they were living with self-confidence and hope toward the future. Especially some of them wanted to help development of volleyball once again if necessary .
Thirdly, participants proposed that system should be offered to players while performing excercise and schoolwork at the same time as well ways to attendance of occupation such as athletic leader or life athletic leader should be prepared to player after retirement as well change of athletic system is required for players in comprehensive construction of advanced countries club ,a corporation owning a professional baseball team, basketball association , schoolwork , university and so on and necessity of welfare system was raised for preparation of retirement and athletic leaders and seniors who can manto junior players is necessary too.
