생태유아교육에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식에 관한 연구 = The Study Recognition of Teacher and Parents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근에 심각하게 거론되는 문제는 자연생태계의 파괴이다. 따라서 환경문제는 경제성장과 더불어 인류가 해결해야 할 시급한 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생태유아교육이 우리의 현실에서 뿌리내리기 위해서는 유아교육 담당자인 교사와 학부모의 인식, 차이, 요구도를 파악하는 것이 필요하다는 입장에서 생태유아교육의 인식 및 실천정도를 알아보고 생태유아교육을 실천하는데 따르는 문제점과 대안을 모색하는 데에 이 연구의 목적을 두었다.
본 연구를 위하여 선행연구와 수원시에 있는 18개의 어린이집 학부모와 25개 어린이집 교사를 대상으로 질문지를 1월 30일부터 배부하여 2월 15일에 배부된 질문지를 회수하였고 자료분석은 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 교사와 학부모의 교차분석을 통해 두 집단의 실제빈도를 분석하여 차이를 파악하고 질문지의 타당성 및 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해 카이스퀘어 검증을 실시하여 나온 결과는 다음과 같다.
조사대상자는 생태유아교육 프로그램은 잘 알지 못했지만 용어를 들어 본 사람은 많은 것으로 나타났고 생태유아교육의 효과성에 대해서 조사대상자는 효과가 있을 거라고 생각하고 있었으며 생태유아교육의 운영방향과 유아교육을 생태유아교육으로 방향 전환하는 것에 대해 적극적으로 동의하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유년기에 시골에 거주한 기간에 따라 자녀교육의 유익성에 차이를 나타냈는데, 거주기간이 5년 이상인 학부모는 만족도가 높게 나타났으며 거주기간이 1년 미만인 학부모는 상대적으로 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.
따라서 조사대상의 원에서는 결과에서 보듯이 시급히 해결되어야 할 많은 문제점들을 안고 있었다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해서는 생태환경의 조성과 교사와 학부모의 생태유아교육 연수 등을 통한 전문적인 교육의 필요성이 요구되며 미래를 짊어지고 나아갈 유아의 교육에 정부도 적극적으로 나서 프로그램 개발과 생태유아교육의 적극적인 홍보와 시행이 요구되며 생태환경조성의 어려움이 있다면 생태환경이 조성되어있지 않은 유아교육기관에서 어떻게 대처하면 좋을지 대안을 생각해 볼 필요가 있다고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In recent years the destruction of the environment natural ecology is said to be serious. Therefore, the problem of protecting environment while having economic growth is an urgent problem awaiting solution. So the goal of this study is to try to find a solution to the problem and to introduce ecological education in preschool. Parents and teachers should recognize the importance of this kind of education.
For this study, written inquiries were passed out to parents of students in 18 children's houses and teachers of 25 children in Suwon. They were distributed on 30, Jan. and collected on 15, Feb.
The analysis of data , which was done by using a SPSS 12.0 program is to understand the difference between parents and teachers of practical frequency of two groups through cross analysis. Also in order to look into the adequacy and confidentiality, chisquare verification was done.
The results are as follows.
This term, preschool education on ecology is well known to many parents and teachers but they don't know what the ecological preschool education program is. Most of them think this education will be effective and they are positive in introducing ecology to preschool education.
According to the period spent in the country in childhood, the usefulness of ecological education is different. Parents with over five years are more satisfied than under a year.
For that reason, many questions need to be solved without delay.
Special education, the development of programs and positive information are needed by people related to education. That is, teachers, parents and authorities. And if not made, the situation for ecological education, institutions for preschool education must consider a substitute.
