The purposes of this study are to use for educational administration through looking into the realities of structural culture in the society of elementary schools and to examine positively the differences between the essential cultural elements and the expressive cultural elements for structural culture of members the public and private school, to use it as the basic data to find the strategy to develop the school organization classified by the public and the private school, and to find the way to magnify managing efficiency.
We looked into the concept of the public & the private school and the invitation and the status in the public & the private school, and surveyed the proportion of teachers to students , educational environment, educational contents, and educational expenses and other hidden costs to achieve these purposes.
SPSS 14.0 version for Window was used as the way for statistical processing, to analyze it through the quantitative statistical processing way by quantification, the results of this study are as follows.
First, the characteristics of school structural culture ,which the teachers to work in a public elementary school recognize, show significant differences according to sex distinction, age, and career in structural cultural elements , but few significant differences in manners among members and human relationship.
Second, the characteristics of school structural culture ,which teachers the teachers to work in a private elementary school recognize , mainly show significant differences according to sex distinction according to age in structural cultural elements, and , especially show significant differences according to age and career in individual environmental factors.
Third, The cultural elements of school structure , which teachers the teachers to work in a public and a private elementary school recognize, statistically show significant differences in informal codes of behavior , active participation in events, democracy in conference pattern, manners, creativity, conservation, and love of their school, but the rest cultural elements of school structure don't have any significant differences. statistically.
The conclusions based on the above research are as follows .
First, the characteristics of structural culture ,which the teachers to work in a public elementary school recognize, are that the recognition level is positive in most structural cultural elements and that the social status of female teachers is becoming higher according to the fact that the rate female teachers advance to the head teachers, school inspectors, and administrative positions increase. As teachers are older and has more careers , they have the more positive recognition level, and play important roles, and have lots of interest in the rising of social positions .
Second, the characteristics of structural culture ,which the teachers to work in a public elementary school recognize, are that the recognition level is positive in most structural cultural elements, and that the strain to structural cultural elements is weaker because the teachers to work in private schools can work in the same school for long years and can be free from social status . In addition, in case of teachers in twenties, the fact the recognition level is more positive originates from that.
Third , in the school structural elements of culture ,which the teachers to work in public and private elementary schools recognize, the informal codes of behavior appear higher in private schools that public schools, and in active participation in events, democracy in conference pattern, the teachers to work in private schools appear to have more positive recognition, and besides, in case of creativity, and love of their school, the teachers to work in private school appear to have more positive recognition than in public schools.
On the other hand, compared with the teachers to work in private school, the teachers in public schools appear to keep manners among members, and In case of conservation, the teachers in public schools appear to present more than in private schools.
