한국인과 중국인의 거절 화행 비교를 통한 한국어 교수 학습 방안 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed at analyzing the aspects of refusal strategy and offering practical proposal on speech acts of refusal in Korean study by comparing and analyzing the speech acts of refusal between Korean native speakers and Chinese-speaking learners of Korean.
The final aim of studying a foreign language is to communicate smoothly with its native speakers. If people do not understand the intentions correctly of each other and have some misunderstanding, it would have bad influences on the personal relationship. Therefore, it needs the grammar, the situation of dialogue and adequate language strategies for the fluent communication.
Although lots of things are required for the Korean learners who are studying the speech acts refusal, the substantial materials are most important. Accordingly, the results of comparison and analysis between the substantive conversation materials of Korean native speaker-oriented survey and the native language study materials of Korean learners`, should be put to practical use into the Korean textbooks or Korean-teaching classes.
The author inquires into the aspects of refusal strategic application and analyzes the refusal of speech acts presented in the Korean textbooks comparing with the speech acts of refusal between Korean native speakers and Chinese-speaking Korean learners. And, the author also offers the proposal that can be practically used at class based on the analyses.
Chapter 1 introduces the purpose and necessity of this study and examines previous research focused on refusal speech acts.
Chapter 2 examines the concept and character of refusal speech acts and divides the refusal speech acts into direct and indirect refusal strategy for the analysis of working survey.
Chapter 3 shows the method and subject of the survey. And it analyzes
that what kind of refusal strategies Korean native speakers and Chinese-speaking Korean learners use in different situations according to sexuality, social status and the degree of intimacy variables.
Chapter 4 inspects the problems of refusal strategies in Korean textbooks based on the refusal strategy analysis from Chapter 3.
Chapter 5 discusses the proposal of refusal speech acts teaching and presents the practical teaching proposal based on the analysis.
Finally, Chapter 6 reviews the research result and means the study that
it focused on the insufficient refusal speech acts of Chinese-speaking Korean learners . And this chapter clarifies the meaning of this paper which discusses the forward research direction of speech acts teaching, and presents the applicable proposal in practical Korean teaching.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국인 화자와 중국인 한국어 학습자의 거절 화행을 비교하여 분석함으로써 한국인과 중국인의 거절 전략 양상을 분석하고 한국어 교육에서 거절 화행 교육의 활용 방안을 제시하는 것이다.
외국어를 학습하는 최종 목표는 목표어를 사용하는 원어민 화자들과 원활한 의사소통을 하는 것이다. 의사소통 시에 서로 의도한 바를 정확히 이해하지 못한다면 대인관계에 나쁜 영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 그러므로 원활한 의사소통을 돕는 교육이 되어야 할 것이고 이를 위해서는 문법과 더불어 대화 상황 및 적절한 언어 전략까지도 교수해야 한다.
한국어 학습자들이 거절 화행의 내용을 학습하는 데에 필요한 것은 여러 가지가 있지만 실질적인 자료가 가장 중요할 것이다. 따라서 한국인 화자를 대상으로 조사한 실질적인 대화 자료와 학습자 모국어 연구 자료를 대조, 분석한 것을 한국어 교재나 수업에 활용하여야 할 것이다.
본고에서는 한국인 화자와 중국인 한국어 학습자의 거절 화행을 비교하여 거절 전략의 사용 양상을 알아보고, 한국어 교재에 나타난 거절 화행을 분석하였다. 그리고 분석을 바탕으로 하여 실제 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
1장에서는 연구의 필요성과 목적을 제시하고 거절 화행에 관련된 선행 연구를 살펴보았다.
2장에서는 거절 화행의 개념과 특징에 관하여 알아보고 본고에서 실시한 설문조사의 분석을 위하여 거절 화행을 직접적인 거절 전략과 간접적인 거절 전략으로 분류하였다.
3장에서는 설문조사 방법과 대상을 제시하였다. 그리고 성별, 사회적 지위, 친밀도를 변인으로 하여 한국인 화자와 중국인 한국어 학습자가 각 상황에서 어떠한 거절 전략을 사용하는지 분석하였다.
4장에서는 3장에서 살펴본 거절 전략 분석을 바탕으로 한국어 교재에서 제시된 거절 전략이 어떠한 문제점이 있는지 살펴보았다.
5장에서는 분석을 바탕으로 거절 화행 교육 방안을 논의하고 실제 교수 학습 방안을 제시하였다.
6장에서는 연구 결과를 정리하고 본 연구가 그동안 미흡했던 중국인 한국어 학습자를 중심으로 한 거절 화행 연구이고 앞으로 화행 교육이 나아가야 할 방향에 대하여 논의한 점, 실제 한국어 교육에서 적용 가능한 방안을 제시하였음에 그 의의가 있음을 밝혔다.
