四柱命理學 十星의 性格과 에니어그램의 性格心理와의 比較 硏究 = Comparative Study on the Character of the 10 Elements(十星) in the Theory of 4 Pillars(四柱) Myeongri(命理) and the Character Psychology in Enneagram

The theory of Myeongri(Principle-Seek；命理) is one of the wisest studies that has achieved by Oriental scholars for thousands years. Asians had their fortune told by the Four Pillars(四柱) and the Eight Characters(八字)；for the year, month, day, and hour of their birth. They considered it as the wisdom for living, that is, avoiding misfortune and taking fortune. And they still live in the same way.
It is a matter of life how to live and how to die for human beings. That is way it is natural to use philosophical and psychological ways for seeking the answer. These days. The theory of Myeongri(命理), one of the Oriental philosophy, is inherent in our lives. Nevertheless the theory of Myeongri(命理) is treated with contempt and is not recognized as a valuable study.
In this study, I went deep into the study that the theory of Myeongri(命理) has more positive aspect than Western psychology has. The theory of Myeongri(命理) can tell people’s personalities, jobs, diseases, fortunes only with the Eight Characters showing their internal and external destinies. However, The Western psychology needs many complicated clinical demonstrations and scientific methods for studying people’s mind and behaviors. The Western psychology taking scientific methods is treated as a study, but the Oriental philosophy, the theory of Myeongri(命理), taking a law of nature is not getting international recognition.
The intelligence test, the multi phasic personality inventory test and the aptitude test are superior to the theory of Myeongri(命理) for studying human beings' mind and behaviors. Such ideas prevail these days in Korean society.
The Eastern philosophy has filtered into the hearts of Asians and Westerners. I believe that the theory of Myeongri(命理) has it much more over the western psychology. I try to develop the theory of Myeongri(命理) as the multi phasic personality inventory test.
There are many types of personality analysis method in the Western psychology. In this study, however, I analyze the Four Pillars(四柱) and the Eight Characters(八字) of the theory of Myeongri(命理) based on the Enneagram in personality psychology, find a thread of connections in the part of personality between the 10 elements(5 elements and 6 relatives；十星) of the Four Pillars(四柱) and Eight Characters(八字) and the correspondent parts of the Enneagram, and make a comparative study. I will prove that the Four Pillars of the theory of Myeongri(命理) is more superior to the Western psychology to analyze human beings’ mind. I also insist that the theory of Myongri(命理) is the much more valuable study than people think and it can be developed further.
Today, Western countries have studied deep into the Oriental philosophy. If we leave this matter unsettled, this asian study can be westernized. To prevent that, every university has to study the theory of Myengri(命理) in the department of education, the philosophy department, and etc. We also have to be concerned about the Oriental philosophy. As has been mentioned, I will prove that the Four Pillars(四柱) of the theory of Myengri(命理) is more superior to the Western psychology. I hope it can be acknowledged and people can satisfy their desire using the theory of Myeongri(命理).
