This study deals with the factors for franchisees who are considering expanding franchises in the restaurant markets choose are, and how much these factors are satisfying. As well, the purpose of this study is to figure out what that franchisees are satisfied with service factors when franchisees choose are, and what the relationship between these satisfactions.
In order to achieve objectivity, this study carries out a survey based on small-size franchisees in domestic restaurants and the number of restaurants was 186(a response rate of 93.0%). The collected data was analyzed for reliability analysis, factor analysis, and path analysis using SPSS version 12.0.
The service factors-Service before opening, Publicity service, Support goods service, Continuos supporting management-are based on literature review.
Each factor affects satisfaction, but only Public services are dissatisfied.
This is based on the domestic reality that franchising should reinforce publicity service. Moreover, this study shows that overall satisfaction affects re-contracting and the intention of recommendation.
