기질, 지각된 부모 양육행동과 인터넷 중독의 관계 : 자율성을 매개변인으로 = The Relationship among Temperament, Perceived Parental Rearing Behaviors and Internet Addiction in Undergraduates

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 위험회피, 자극추구, 돌봄 및 과보호와 인터넷 중독간의 관계에 대해 알아보고, 그 과정에서 자율성의 매개효과가 있는지 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 광주에 소재한 대학교에서 남녀 대학생 453명(남 206명, 여 247명)을 대상으로 인터넷 중독검사, 한국판 부모-자녀 결합형태 검사, 한국판 단축형 기질 및 성격검사를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다.
기질, 성격 및 지각된 부모양육행동이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향을 중다회귀분석으로 분석한 결과, 기질의 하위차원인 자극추구, 성격의 하위차원인 자율성, 지각된 부모의 양육행동 하위차원인 돌봄, 과보호가 인터넷 중독을 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 위험회피, 자극추구, 돌봄 및 과보호와 인터넷 중독과의 관계에서 자율성의 매개효과를 알아본 결과, 위험회피와 인터넷 중독과의 관계에서 자율성의 매개효과가 유의미하였다. 즉, 위험회피가 자율성을 매개로 인터넷 중독에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 연구결과를 토대로 위험회피가 자율성을 매개로 인터넷 중독에 영향을 주는 점이 시사하는 바와 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship among Temperament, character, Perceived Parental Rearing Behaviors and Internet Addiction. Also this study was aimed to investigate the mediating effect of Self-Directedness on the relationship among Temperament, Perceived Parental Rearing Behaviors and Internet Addiction. Data sources for the study were Temperament and Character Inventory-125(TCI 125), Parental Bonding Instrument(PBI) and Internet Addiction Test(IAT). The participants of the study were 453 undergraduate students(206 men and 247 women).
A step-wise multifactorial regression indicated that Harm Avoidance, Novelty Seeking, Self-Directedness, Care and Overprotection had a positive effects on Internet Addiction. In addition, step-wise multifactorial regression analysis was conducted to examine the mediating effects of Self-Directedness on the relationship among Temperament, Perceived Parental Rearing Behaviors and Internet Addiction. The result showed that Self-Directedness mediates the effect of Harm Avoidance on Internet Addiction.
Based on the findings, implications for understandings and therapeutic interventions were discussed. Limitations of the current study and the suggestions for further research were suggested.
