스쿠버다이빙 참여자의 매니아 되기 과정 = A Qualitative Study on the Process of Becoming a Scubadiving Mania

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 스쿠버다이빙 매니아 경험과정의 의미를 심층적으로 파악하고자 근거이론적 접근방법을 활용하여 연구를 실시하였다. 연구 참여자는 유목적적 표집방법을 이용하여 스쿠버다이빙 매니아 7명을 선정하였다. 본 연구에서의 자료수집방법은 심층면접법과 참여관찰을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 자료에서 도출된 그대로를 반영하여 제시된 코딩 패러다임을 인과적 조건, 맥락적 요소, 중심현상, 상호작용, 결과, 핵심범주로 구성하여 스쿠버다이빙 참여자의 매니아 경험과정과 그 과정의 의미를 도출해 내고자 하였다. 본 연구의 패러다임으로 제시되는 결과는 스쿠버다이빙 참여자의 매니아 경험과정을 통해 열정적 여가로의 의미를 갖게 된다는 것이다. 첫째, 스쿠버다이빙 매니아 경험은 행동 및 태도 변화를 갖게 된다는 것이다. 둘째, 스쿠버다이빙 매니아 경험은 내적 성숙을 형성 시킨다는 것이다. 셋째, 스쿠버다이빙 매니아 경험은 새로운 대인관계를 형성시킨다는 것이다. 이는 행위자체의 즐거움, 성취감과 자신감, 모험 스포츠에 대한 도전을 경험하는 과정 속에서 스쿠버다이빙 참여가 열정적으로 지속됨에 따라 매니아적 행동과 태도가 형성되고 유지되어진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to examine the significance of the process of becoming a scuba diving mania using grounded theory method approach. 7 members of scuba diving mania participated in the test, and they had been selected by purposeful sampling. The data for this study include participant??s observation, depth interview. This study categorized the coding paradigm which was presented by using the findings derived from data as they were into causal condition, contextual element, central phenomenon, critical situation, mediative element, interaction, result and core category to draw out the process of becoming a scuba diving mania and its significances.
The result of the paradigm suggested in the study in the study has meaning of a passionate leisure activity through the process of becoming a scuba diving mania. First, the experience as a mania of scuba enables me to have the change in behavior and attitude. Second, the experience as a mania of scuba diving enables me to form my internal maturity. Third, the experience as a mania of scuba diving enables me to form a new human relationship.
For the further researches, they can achieve the pleasure, confidence and fulfillment. In the course of challenge and experience of adventurous sports they can form the behavior and attitude of a mania continuing scuba diving enthusiastically.
