집단미술치료가 노년기의 우울과 자아통합에 미치는 영향 = The influence of group art therapy on depression and self integration in old-aged

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구대상자는 전라북도 완주군 A면에 위치한 경로당을 중심으로 우울증상이 있거나 자아통합에 어려움이 있는 집단을 선정하였다. 또한 이 지역은 전체 인구 중 노인인구가 차지하는 비율이 19%로 이미 고령화 사회가 형성되어 있다.
본 연구의 대상자는 참여한 노인 중 연구목적에 부합하는 집중연구대상자중 3명을 선정하였으며, 1차 2006. 4. 19～7. 13 2차 2006. 9. 20～12. 6 까지 주 1회 90분간 총 20회에 걸쳐 집단미술치료 프로그램을 적용하였다. 자료 분석은 조사 대상자의 사전·사후 H­T­P 그림검사와 우울검사 변화·자아 통합감의 변화에 따른 효과를 알아보기 위해 Wilcoxon 부호 순위 검증을 통해 효과성을 검증하였다. H­T­P그림검사는 미술치료 평가방법의 이론과 실제(옥금자 저)를 이용하여 분석 하였다.
본 연구를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 집단미술치료 프로그램 실시 후의 H­T­P 그림검사는 회기마다의 작품에서의 표현력이나 상징적 의미, 언어표현 등의 자기 인식이 증가 되었고 능동적인 참여와 자신감이 향상되었다.
둘째, 집단미술치료 프로그램이 우울 감소 효과성을 검증해 본 결과 사전 사후의 점수가 월등히 낮아 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈다.
셋째, 자아 통합을 위한 사전검사보다 사후검사의 점수가 높게 나타나 긍정적인 효과성을 검증하였다.
본 연구의 이론적 배경은 에릭슨의 심리사회 발달이론(Psychosocial theory)에서 인생주기를 계속적인 발달과정으로 보고 각 발달단계마다 개인이 해결하도록 사회로부터 요구되어지는 발달과업을 기본으로 제시했다. 에릭슨은 노년기에 수행해야 할 발달과업 중 하나로 지난날 자신이 지내온 인생을 나름대로 정리해 보는 것이 중요하다고 하였다. 이런 과제를 ‘자아통합감(ego integrity)'으로 표현하였다. 연구결과 우울감과 자아통합감을 향상시키고 노인심리의 편파적인 면을 경감시켜 각자가 가지고 있는 고유한 창조성을 개발함으로서 풍부하고 의미 있는 삶을 살 수 있도록 하는데 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We set a set of group of elderly people, who lives in outskirt of A myen, Wanjugun Jeonlabukdo, had a trouble in personal relationship or depress ness. Also in this area elderly composed of more than 90%. So then, we can say aging society is increasing now. We selected 3 people of set of this group who fits into this research perfectly, we applied our group art therapy total times starting from 2006. 4. 19 ～7. 13 through 2006. 9. 20～12. 6 - (once a week 90 minutes 20 times). This data analysis can be verified efficiency on H­T­P picture test of before and after of the set of group, change of depression, Wilcoxon symbol order verification. H­T­P picture test analysis is in the practice and theory of evaluation of art therapy. This is the summary of our research.
First, after receiving group art therapy, we can see their expression and symbolic meaning, and language expression is increasing in H­T­P picture test every time. We can lead their active cooperation and confidence. Second, we can induce more positive result in group art therapy program, which we can compare on the data of before and after. Third, we can also verify the affirmative efficiency of this group art therapy, which we can compare on the data of before and after of ego integration. The theory background of this research, which we regard the life cycle of Erickson’s psychosocial theory as continuous progress and suggest the developing accomplishment which we expect to overcome every growing step on the society as a standard rule. Erickson also pointed out that organizing their lives in their aging society is one of the important steps developing accomplishment. This is called ego integrity. In conclusion, the goal of this research is that we have to try to increase their ego integration and develop their unique creativeness, but decrease depression of elderly and decrease misunderstanding of common people on elderly.
