As an alternative plan of Humanities since 2000 and trying to establish Culture Contents Studies; a true character which is yet to be define more comprehensively for theoretical analysis. The purpose of this research was to seek the knowledge construction process of culture contents. The knowledge construction process could be concluded to the matter of a curriculum because it might be connected to how studies contribute to individual learners. Thus, the substantial purpose of this study was to develop the curriculum of Culture Contents for Culture Contents Studies.
The results of research work are as follows. The second chapter presents the relationship between the main point of constructivism philosophy of education and Culture Contents Studies. Especially this chapter confirms a curriculum's basic framework for the development of talented people in Culture Contents industry based on the principle of the constructivism teaching-learning such as self-directed learning, self-reflectible learning, cooperative learning, actual task grant and professor's role as a promoter.
The third chapter includes the analysis and comparision made on educational contents of the domestic and foreign Culture Contents Studies. Further to this educational contents were divided into a curriculum operation method and a curriculum operation program. Initially a comparision is made in the curriculum operation method applied in the education programs offered by the Korean Universities which is in the form of stageable learning, domain-learning and academical learning. Retrospect to this foreign Universities provide education programs in the form of linkage-major, cooperation course and module method. This research establishes existance of significant variation in fundamental ways in which the Curriculum operation program are applied in different countries or cultures. This study makes comparision between the local (Korean) Culture Contents Studies' subjects and that of other developed nations. First, some subjects were developed for students to improve 'Creativity' in the case of Domestic Culture Contents Studies. However, in the case of Foreign Universities, many subjects were established for 'Critical Thinking Faculty'. Second, a number of Korean Universities established subjects that help 'Planning' and 'Development', but in the case of Foreign Universities, they intended to establish subject related to 'Internship', 'Project', and 'Practical Training Program'. Third, Domestic Culture Contents Studies in Korean Universities was used with the same name as 'Culture Contents', but curriculums were differed in the way that each University's given conditions, administrational situations and regional problems. Fourth, Foreign Universities have established the education service program such as mentoring system and adviser program focused mainly on learners.
Chapter 4 covers feed back from students studying Culture Contents Studies and input from the professionals and specialists working in the field in Korea. First, the results revealed that the lowest grade of satisfaction from students who study Culture Contents Studies based on Humanities is a grade of satisfaction of a curriculum. Second, comparing to opinions from students, professors and specialists regarding the problems of Culture Contents Studies' curriculum, students and specialists agreed that the biggest problem is the non-professionalism of Culture Contents subjects. On the other side, professors suggested that the problem is not only the matter of quality of curriculums but also the matter of external infrastructures such as the lack of equipments and facilities for practical classes and the lack of skilled instructors. Third, this dissertation compares the opinion on the methods of Culture Contents Studies' curriculum developments with students, professors and specialists. All of them suggested a portional extension of the practical subjects which satisfies demands of the site, industrial and academical program development and curriculum development.
On the fifth chapter, this study developed the constructivism Culture Contents curriculum with a territorial syllabus and a instruction plan based on the results of the chapters Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ.
This research faces a limitation. In order to resolve this problem, the suggests for future study would be discussed. First, this study mainly reviewed and excerpted domestic research papers and books such as a crisis of humane studies and domestic literature records. In future study, it is required for that I need to research foreign literature records for further research.
Second, the case studies were comprised by information mainly from the web sites except some literature records therefore, it is not certain whether or not curriculums provided from each University's web sites are operated certainly. Also while the research was carried out the researcher was not able to update new information related to open course' curriculums. Thus next research need to check that each curriculums run by Universities is operated correctly determining the length of research time.
Third, questionnaire research was carried out to 204 students who study Culture Contents Studies as sampling and questionnaire research for Culture Contents site specialists was limited to Seoul and Kyeonggi-do areas. Therefore, for the further research, it is necessary to increase number of samples as well as a diversification of research targets.
Fourth, as proposed on this research, constructivism Culture Contents curriculum does not include 'education evaluation'. Therefore, for the further research, it is required to apply the syllabus, which is proposed from this research and need to verify an efficiency of the syllabus.
