Today the most of youth tends to become more self-confident and egoistic. Furthermore, they are in general lack of physical ability, willing obedience, moral sense, and self-restraint. This negative factors would be caused by changing family system into nuclear family system. Of cause, they always have not bad elements but good factors we know.
What I want to touch in this distortion is these characteristics of negative element give disadvantageous factors to military organization, since generally social organization rinks to military organization in korea military system.
Nowadays, also another social phenomenon is that the number of a family member is reduced. One family, one son and one daughter.
In this point, if a soldier commits suicide in the military service, his parent will be shocked enormously and also negative extending effect will be numerous in the military organization. Therefore the military also recognizes the importance of accident prevention and make effort to reduce the soldier's suicide.
However, it is often very difficult to reduce that kind of accidents.
According to some statistic, the suicide percentage has not been reducing in compare to other death accidents.
So, new techniques of instrument for the soldier's suicide prevention are required in the army HQ. By this reason, Army HQ designed 'The Unit Management TF of Human life-oriented'.
The purpose of this study is to seek the management practices for the prevention of the suicide accidents by analysis of all kinds of the existing accidents in military organization under the statistic data and existing data of around.
In conclusion, the main causes of accident are inadaptability of new generation soldiers to military environment.
Since soldiers in the new generation choose to commit suicide as their final resolution to overcome these difficulties, military leaders should implement the management system in which they can easily access the new generation soldier's demands and complaints.
