대학생의 학교생활 만족도 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to analyze how the satisfaction of college students with the quality of classes, college welfare and administration services vary according to the variables (gender, school year, major), and therefore to provide useful data for college management.
The subject of this study is 300 students, who are sophomore or junior of four-year college located in Kyung-In province. Credibility of this survey turned out to be quite high. (Cronbach ∝ .83). The results of the survey was analyzed using the SPSS program and are as follows.
First, it is revealed that college-life satisfaction on the whole does not vary as gender, school year, major or the reason of college choice.
Second, the satisfaction with the quality of class does not vary as gender and school year, but showed quite statistically meaningful difference when analyzed with the variables such as major and the reason of college choice.
Third, regarding the satisfaction with college administration and welfare service, it does not show much difference when analyzed with the variables, such as gender and school year, but there is a crucial difference with the variables such as major and the reason of college choice.
The quality of college education is a major decisive factor of college competitiveness and a main issue that college need to put the priority over any other policy goals. College education improvement provide satisfaction with the students and, furthermore, is a main mission of college as a social educational institution. It should be also noted that satisfaction with college life can be made by students themselves out of their own activeness. It is not that college provide the satisfaction with students.
Basically closer attention of management and administrative staffs and improvement of professors' research environment are needed to improve college education level and students' satisfaction with the college. However, it is also important for students to effort themselves for the college education improvement. In conclusion, all the members need to work for the improvement of students' satisfaction with collge education.
