국문 초록 (Abstract)

정신분열증환자들 중에는 평생 시설이나 병원에서 지내야 하는 특별 보호조치가 필요한 사람들도 있지만 대부분의 정신질환자들은 일정기간의 입원 치료 후 지역사회로 복귀되어 통원치료와 재활치료를 병행하게 된다. 각 지역 정신보건센터에서 실시하게 되는 많은 표현심리치료와 재활프로그램 중에 이번에 실시한 영화치료프로그램은 통원치료와 사회재활을 준비하는 정신분열증환자들이 사회와 가정생활에서 겪는 불안감과 대인관계의 기피성에 대한 극복이라는 차원에서 본 연구를 D시 OO구 정신보건센터의 요청에 따라 대상자 선정을 약물치료 병행하는 정신분열증상을 가진 남녀 10명과 함께 3개월간 영화치료를 실시하였다.
영화치료의 선택은 정신분열증환자 자신의 행동관점을 자신이 잘 파악하게 하고 타인과의 의견교류를 통하는 과정에서 자신 안에 숨겨져 있는 자아의 욕망, 분출되지 못한 기억의 파편들과 집단상담치료의 핵심인 알아차림의 순간을 통해 내담자의 충돌되는 심적 자아를 파악하게 해준다. 자기성찰이 곧 자신의 내면의 각성이라는 알아차림으로 이어지는 정서의 피드백 과정을 갖게 된다. 영화치료의 토론상담에서는 집단상담치료의 부분을 접목해서 한층 영화치료의 효과성을 나타내고자 한다.
영화치료프로그램의 회기별 활동에 대해서 영화를 감상 후 집단상담을 통해 자아기능의 회복과 강화를 목적으로 했고 대인관계의 호전과 불안감 감소에 대한 분석을 위해 대인관계척도지와 불안감 상태 척도지를 영화치료 프로그램 마지막 회기 후에 조사했다. 또한 영화치료 프로그램 실시 전과 후로 개인별 행동관찰을 통해 내담자들에게 나타난 행동변화도 개별적으로 비교 정리하였다.
따라서 영화치료프로그램의 과정을 통해서 그들에게 주어졌던 침묵의 시간이 현실세계로의 변화를 통한 자기 의사 표현이 가능하고, 자기내면 표출이 되어 자신감을 형성하게 됨으로써 적극적인 행동으로 대인관계의 향상을 가져왔다. 자연스럽게 내면표출이 이루어지고, 음지에서 자라던 욕구들이 발산이 되면서 자신들이 가진 불안감이 감소되었고, 참여자들의 욕구충족 방법을 자연스럽게 통찰시킴으로써 현실에서 건강한 자아모습을 가지고 살 수 있도록 그들의 현재의 불만족스런 생활태도를 개선하도록 도움을 주고 사회성 회복에 영향을 주었다.
이상에서 제시한 본 연구 결과를 기초로 하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 영화치료 프로그램이 정신분열증 환자의 불안감 감소를 통한 그들의 불안정한 행동개선에 도움을 주었다.
둘째, 대인관계 기피증이 있던 정신분열증환자들의 매우 소극적인 행동이 좀 더 적극적인 행동과 긍정적인 태도가 나타나도록 하는데 영화치료활동이 대인관계 향상과 사회복귀에 부분적으로 영향을 주었다.
내담자 특성에 따른 개별적 이상 없이 영화치료가 회기 별로 이루어지므로 이들이 가졌던 대인관계의 기피성과 불안감이 프로그램 전 보다 많이 해소 된 것으로 나왔다. 프로그램에 참가한 정신분열증환자에게 본 프로그램에 대한 인식과 치료효과에 대한 조사에도 매우 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.
