집단놀이 활동이 선택적 함묵증 아동의 사회성 발달에 미치는 효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 집단놀이 활동이 선택적 함묵증 아동의 사회성 발달에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있었다. 구체적인 연구의 문제는 첫째, 집단놀이 활동이 선택적 함묵증 아동의 교우들과 어울리기에 효과가 있는가? 둘째, 집단놀이 활동이 선택적 함묵증 아동의 감정표현하기에 효과가 있는가? 였다. 연구의 대상은 3, 4, 5학년 선택적 함묵증 아동 3명이었고, 실험설계는 단일대상연구방법 중 대상자간 중다기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 독립변인은 집단놀이 활동이었으며 종속변인은 사회성 발달이었다. 연구대상자들에게 6주 동안 10회기～20회기의 중재활동을 하였다.
연구의 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단놀이 활동은 선택적 함묵증 아동의 교우들과 어울리기 행동을 증가시켰다. 둘째 집단놀이 활동은 선택적 함묵증 아동의 감정표현하기 행동을 증가시켰다. 즉 집단놀이 활동은 선택적 함묵증 아동의 사회성 발달을 향상시키는데 효과적인 방법이었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of group paly activities on the social skills of children with selective mutism. The specific research questions were (1) whether the group play activities had an positive effect on the peer relationship of children with selective mutism, and (2) whether the group play activities had an positive effect on the emotional expression of children with selective mutism.
The participants of this study were three children(one third grade, one fourth grade, and one fifth grade) with selective mutism. This study employed a multiple baseline design across subjects one of single subject research. The independent variable was group play activities and the dependent variable was social skills. The group play activities were implemented 25 periods over a six-week period.
Results indicated that the group play activities had positive effects on the peer relationship and the emotional expression of children with selective mutism during the intervention. This finding indicated that the group play activities were effective approach to foster the social skills of children with selective mutism.
