직장보육시설 보육교사 역할수행에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 직장보육시설에 근무하는 보육교사의 역할수행에 대해 교사와 학부모가 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 보육교사의 역할수행에 대한 교사와 학부모의 인식 차이를 알게 됨으로써 보육교사와 학부모 사이에 더욱 밀접한 신뢰 형성으로 질 높은 보육 서비스를 제공하여 영 · 유아의 성장 발달에 도움을 주고 보육의 질적 수준을 향상시키는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다.
연구목적을 위해 설정된 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 직장보육시설 보육교사의 역할수행에 관한 교사의 인식이 교사의 개인적 변인인 경력, 전공, 자격증, 연령에 따라 차이가 있을 것인가?
둘째, 직장보육시설 보육교사의 역할수행에 관한 학부모의 인식이 학부모의 개인적 변인 연령, 학력, 직업에 따라 차이가 있을 것인가?
셋째, 직장보육시설 보육교사의 역할수행에 관한 교사와 학부모의 인식에 차이가 있을 것인가?
본 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 호남지역에 있는 직장보육시설에 근무하는 보육교사 38명과 학부모 336명을 대상으로 보육교사 역할수행을 알아보기 위해 설문지를 배포하였다. 수집된 자료는 교사와 부모의 변인에 따른 차이를 알아보기 위해 차이검증과 일원변량분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구에서 밝혀진 연구는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 직장보육시설 보육교사의 역할수행에 관해 교사들은 연령이 높을수록 하위요인 중 교육과정설계자의 역할을 높게 생각하였고, 경력이 많은 교사와 경력이 적은 교사가 연구자의 역할을, 전공에서는 유아교육과를 졸업한 교사가 높게 인식한 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 직장보육시설 보육교사의 역할수행에 관해 부모들은 연령이 높을수록 운영관리자의 역할을 높게 생각하였고, 대학원을 졸업한 부모는 교육과정설계자의 역할을 높게 인식하고, 대학을 졸업한 부모는 학습촉진자, 연구자, 조언 및 생활지도자, 운영관리자의역할을 높게 생각하였으며, 공무원인 부모는 연구자의 역할을 높게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 직장보육시설에 대한 보육교사 및 부모 인식의 차이는 보육교사는 부모에 비해 교육과정 설계자, 학습촉진자, 연구자의 역할을 높게 생각하였고, 부모는 교사에 비해 건강관리자, 안전관리자의 역할을 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구를 수행하는 과정에서 나타난 한계점은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 본 연구는 호남 지역의 직장보육시설에 근무하는 교사와 부모를 대상으로 연구하였으므로 연구결과를 전체에 일반화 하는데 한계가 있다.
둘째, 본 연구는 보육교사 자신이 역할수행 인식도를 파악하기 위하여 설문지를 통해 반응하였기 때문에 교사의 편견이 개입될 가능성을 배제할 수 없다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to see how teachers and parents recognized the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place. As it was known the difference of recognition between teachers and parents, both of them could build up their trust and provide a high child care service. It could give a help to growing of the infant, and to improve the quality level of child care was the purpose of this study.
The research questions were posed as below:
First, is there any difference of teachers' perception on the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place according to the teachers' personal variations such as a career, a major, a certificate of qualification, and an age?
Second, is there any difference of parents' recognition on the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place according to the parents' personal variations such as an age, an educational background, and a job?
Third, is there any difference of recognition between teachers and parents on the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place?
To solve this problem, the evaluation forms were given out to 38 child care teachers in a child care center of working place in Honam province and 336 parents to see the role execution of the child care teacher. The data which was collected executed the hazard difference verification and a variant analysis to figure out the difference caused by the parent's and teacher's personal variations.
The results are as follows:
First, the study showed in the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place, teachers regarded the role of curriculum design as an age, the role of researcher as a career and the teacher who studied early childhood education in university as a major as highly important factors.
Second, the older the parents are the more important they consider the role of a operation manager, and parents who hold a master's or upper degree regard the role of a curriculum designer more important. Parents who hold a bachelor's degree consider the role of a learning facilitator, researcher, adviser, and operation manager. Parents whose job is a civil servant regard the role of a researcher more important.
Third, the study also showed in the difference of recognition between teachers and parents on the role execution of the child care teacher in a child care center of working place, child care teacher thought the role of curriculum design, the studying promoter, and the researcher highly important while parents put a premium on the role of the health manager and the manager of safety.
The critical points in the study are as follows :
First, there is a limit to generalize the results of the study because the subjects used in this study were involved the teachers who worked in child care center and parents in Honam province.
Second, in this study child care teachers themselves evaluated the questionnaire to understand their role execution. Therefore, it will not be able to exclude the possibility where the prejudice of the teacher will be intervened.
