기록물관리기관의 이용활성화 방안에 관한 연구 = A Study on the enhanced-use of Archives

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기록물관리기관의 궁극적인 목적이 기록물의 이용이라는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재 한국의 기록물 이용은 정치적 이슈와 맞물린 민원성 열람에 그치고 학술 목적의 열람의 증가에 미치지 못한다. 이것은 특히 연구자들에게도 아직 기록물관리기관이 일반적인 학술기관으로서 인식되지 못하기 때문이다.
이에 본 연구에서는 국내외 기록물관리기관에서의 연구자 그룹을 대상으로 하는 특화된 서비스를 조사하였다. 또한 대학원생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여, 기록물관리기관에 대한 인식도와 이용실태, 필요로 하는 서비스와 효과적인 홍보방법 등에 대한 조사를 하였다.
사례조사와 설문 내용을 바탕으로 앞으로 연구자들을 기록물관리기관의 이용자로 확보하기 위해 온라인 서비스 프로그램의 다양화, 학술연구단체와의 협력강화, 적극적인 이용교육, 담당직원의 서비스 강화의 필요성 등을 강조하였다.
앞으로 기록물관리기관의 잠재적 이용자의 개발을 위하여, 이용자 세분화를 통한 적극적인 이용자 조사가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is well-known that ultimate goal of archives lies in the use of records. Nevertheless, current use of records in Korea is limited to public grievance-related services linked to political issues, without increase in service requests for academic purposes, which is especially because researchers still do not recognized archives as a general academic institution.
Therefore, this study investigated services specialized for domestic and overseas researchers of archives. In addition, through a questionnaire survey on graduate school students, awareness and use of archives, needed services, and effective promotion methods were examined.
On the basis of results of case-study and questionnaire survey, the study emphasized diversification of online service programs, strengthened cooperation with academic research institutes, education of active use, and the need for reinforced services by staff concerned, in order to attract more researchers as future users of archives.
It is considered necessary to conduct active survey on users through user segmentation, for the purpose of developing potential users of archives in the future.
