노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태와 생활만족도 관련요인 : 무료시설과 유료시설을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 무료시설과 유료시설을 중심으로 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태와 생활만족도의 관련요인을 파악하여 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강증진과 시설 입소 노인의 생활만족도 향상을 위한 질적인 서비스를 개발하는데 기초자료를 마련하기위해 실시하였다.
자료 수집은 2007년 7월 말부터 한달 동안 이루어졌으며, 연구 설계는 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구대상은 영남지역에 소재한 무료 노인복지시설 입소노인 140명과 유료 노인복지시설 입소노인 140명을 임의 표출하였으며 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 1:1 면접으로 조사하였다.
자료분석은 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, 상관분석과 회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1. 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태는 무료시설 노인이 2.52점, 유료시설 노인이 2.67점으로 유료시설 입소노인의 건강상태가 높았으며, 건강상태의 하위영역 중에는 두 시설 모두 정서적 기능이 높았다.
2. 노인복지시설 입소노인의 생활만족도는 무료시설이 1.98점, 유료시설이 2.08점으로 유료시설 입소노인의 생활만족도가 높았다.
3. 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태와 생활만족도의 상관관계에서는 두 요인간에 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다.
4. 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태에 영향을 미치는 요인은 생활만족도, 입소동기, 연령, 성별을 포함하였을 때 건강상태의 28.4%를 설명하였으며 변수가 추가될수록 설명력(R2)이 증가하였다.
5. 노인복지시설 입소노인의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 건강상태와 시설에서 어려운점(동료노인과의 대인관계, 불충분한 시설과 환경)을 포함하였을때 생활만족도의 21.8%를 설명하였으며 변수가 추가될수록 설명력(R2)이 증가하였다.
이상의 연구결과를 통하여 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태와 생활만족도는 유료시설 입소노인이 모두 높았으며, 건강상태와 생활만족도에 많은 관련요인들이 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 건강상태와 생활만족도의 관련요인을 분석하여 노인복지시설의 문제점을 보완하고 발전시켜, 노인복지시설 입소노인의 건강상태를 증진하고 생활만족도를 높이기 위한 계속적인 노력이 필요할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence factors related to health status and life satisfaction of the elderly accommodated in the welfare facility, and with those results to provide basic data for developing the qualified services required for health promotion and life satisfaction enhancement.
The data collection was performed for one month from the end of July, 2007. The research design was done through the descriptive correlation study. The participants in the study were each randomly selected form free(140 persons) and charged(140 persons) welfare facilities in Yeongnam region. As a measuring instrument of health status and life satisfaction, the one to one questionnaires method was used.
In data analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, SD, t-test, correlation and regression were secured with SPSS Win 12.0 program.
The results of this study were as follows;
1. The health status of elders were 2.52 in free welfare facility and 2.67 in charged welfare facility. Health status of elders in charged welfare facility was higher, and emotional function was more important factor among the lower categories of health status in both welfare facilities.
2. The life satisfaction of elders were 1.98 in free facility and 2.08 in charged welfare facility. Thus, life satisfaction of elders was higher in charged welfare facility.
3. There were significant positive correlations between health status and life satisfaction of the elderly in the welfare facility.
4. Variables such as life satisfaction, motivation of getting into facility, age, gender were counted as the influence factors related to health status. Those variables could explain 28.4% of elders' health status. With variables more added, the power of explanation were more increased.
5. When health condition and difficulties in facility life(such as relations with colleagues, insufficient environment and equipment) were included as influential factors, 21.8% of life satisfaction could be explained. With variables more added, the power of explanation were more increased.
Through the results mentioned above, it was found that both health status and life satisfaction of the elderly were higher in charged welfare facility, and factors related to health status and life satisfaction were highly correlated. Accordingly, it is needed to solve the problems of welfare facility of the elderly through the analysis of correlations between health status and life satisfaction. In addition, it is needed to put continuos efforts to enhance the health condition and life satisfaction of the elderly accommodated in the welfare facility.
