어포던스 개념을 적용한 대형병원로비의 공간디자인 방법에 관한연구 = A Study on how to Design the Lobby space in the General Hospital with the Concept of the Affordance

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대형병원의 로비공간은 용도와 기능이 다양하고 혼잡하며, 매우 복잡한 공간 프로그램이 혼재해 있는 공간이다. 이러한 공간에서 환자와 방문자, 의료공간과 환자와의 관계성을 회복하고 의학적 측면의 치료의 범주를 벗어나 새로운 치유환경의 공간으로 인식을 시키고 그 개념을 치료, 혹은 치유가 아닌 생활의 일부분으로서 환경치유로서 기존의 단순한 대기공간이 아닌 새로운 개념의 대형병원 로비공간의 새로운 디자인 방향과 공간 활용에 대한 기준을 제시하고자 한다. 어포던스 개념의 공간적용은 다양한 공간과 사용자의 사유변화와 함께 점차 확대적용하고 있는 이론이다. 이에 디자인에서 볼 수 있는 어포던스 개념의 표현을 발견하고, 공간디자인에서 어포던스 개념의 의미를 살피고, 사용자의 인지과정과 사유체계의 고찰을 통해 공간디자인의 적용에 대한 기본적인 어포던스의 인지요소를 관찰하여 인간의 인지적 본성과 공간과의 상호관계성이 요구된다고 사료한다. 따라서 이러한 연구를 공간디자인에 반영함으로써 공간과 인간의 인지적 특성을 통하여 어포던스 개념을 공간디자인에 적용가능하다는 것을 밝히고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The lobby of the General hospital is the space which has the various usage and function and is very complicated and is mixed with the very complex space programs. In such space, it’s required to recover the relations with the patients and the visitors and those with the medical spaces and the patients and to be understood as the space for the new cure environment. With the concept of environment cure, I would like to present the new direction of design for the new concept of lobby space, not the previous concept of air space and the standard of space use. The design with the concept of affordance should not only be the thing to be seen simplely but also have the reactions corresponding to the standard of the reading to let the users understand clearly the information which the things imply. The affordance is called as the support to bring out the users’activities as according with a lots of the functional possibilities the things have and the diversity of use the users have.
